Nalgene Narrow Mouth Sustain 1L Water Bottle Clear

Nalgene bottles last forever! This size holds 32oz of water and you can add ice cubes one at a time through the narrow mouth. The loop on the lid keeps it from getting lost, but also serves as a handle. I only wish that it kept the water cold. It holds so much, but gets warm easily.

We have two Nalgene varieties in our house: this and the wide mouth. The narrow mouth is definitely my preference because there's no issue with spillage when I try to drink. These bottles are super durable - I've had mine for 7 or 8 years and it's still going strong. I drop it all the time, and while it scratches, it never cracks or breaks. We have a ton of these in our house, and I would definitely recommend them to everyone. I've never had a problem with leaks, and I've only ever heard positive things about these bottles, in addition to having positive experiences myself. This has been the best purchase for me. It is so much easier to clean and maintain than the stainless steel bottles I was previously using. Another plus is that the container is so light weight (and durable) that it's a breeze carrying 32 oz of water with me everyday. Also when I refill it during the day I can see how many ounces I'm putting into the bottle. Plus the narrow mouth makes it so much easier to drink from than their wide mouth version. Some people have complained that they are difficult to clean-- not true. If you are a water drinker like me all you have to do is put a little soap in the bottle, fill it with warm or hot tap water and let the bottle soak for a few minutes (remember to scrub around the inside/outside of the neck of the bottle inside the cap) then rinse out all the soapy water and residue. If you drink something other than water then after the bottle has soaked for a few minutes insert a bottle brush and swirl it around the inside to give it a little extra cleaning then rinse.

I’ve had a few Nalgenes over the years and the narrow mouth version is the best. The wide mouth can be difficult to drink from without dumping a ton of water all over yourself, especially if you’re trying to take a quick sip. I’m a teacher and I always have my Nalgene full! I also love that the cap is connected and I use the ring to carry it around. Although it isn’t insulating, it keeps the water fresh and doesn’t spill! 10/10 recommend. The measurement lines on the side helps me to keep track of how much water im drinking throughout the day, also

The small mouth makes it easier to drink, but that’s about it. It seems to get smelly faster and is very hard to clean. You have to have bottle brushes. I recommend buying a wide mouth the small mouth removable rubber insert. More sanitary so much easier to clean or add mixes to your water.

Best outdoor bottle!

I just love it! I had a nalgene bottle for the past 6 years and used it everyday on all sorts of adventures or even just working in the outdoors. It has lasted without any issues. I love the convenience, you never look for the lid, it's light when empty, it's see through (no risk of drinking insects or dirt) and the opening is big enough to fill from any kind of tap or even filter water into it. I have bought another one now for my partner and am sure he will love it as much as I do!

Best water bottle

Nalgene water bottles are hands down one of the best around. The smaller mouth piece is much better than the wide mouth version. I’ve had one of these for 12 years and am just now getting around to replacing it because I want something a little different. There is nothing actually wrong with the first one I purchased so long ago. I highly recommend.

Bestest Ever!!

Dropped it numerous times at work and didn't break! No leaks! Not even a scratch on it yo! Totally love it! Must buy ANOTHER! XD I even put a charizard sticker on it so no one takes it! Haha! It's mine.

Lightweight environmentally conscious and functional

Why I like my Nalgene bottle:- they lightweight being made of plastic, I attach them to my bag with a caribena when travelling and fill it as I go.- have a great seal. I've camped with hot water in my Nalgene bottle to keep my sleeping bag warm. I never have to worry about it leaking.- are robust- have a wide mouth (good for pouring melted snow in from a pan)- can take hot or cold liquid.

Sent different color bottle without notice.

Functionally, it’s a water bottle. It’s fine and is the exact model of the one I already know and love (that I was gifted). However, I ordered the Pomegranate color bottle and received a hideous hot pink and blue bottle. I could’ve returned and reordered, but I wish I would’ve been notified that the color I chose had sold out after I’d purchased and been able to select another color on my own instead of being sent a random (and ugly) color. Again, it’s a bottle and the color doesn’t particularly affect it’s performance, but I would’ve appreciated the option to cancel or select another color since Pomegranate was sold out.
