Not real satisfied with this product. Squirt tops will leak! The ones I received suck a lot of air when closed, not even attempting a liquid (like fuel which I had hoped). Don't even think an added O-ring would fix it. Now for the good, bottle quality is superb which should be expected with nalgene. The screw on tops don't seem to leak air but also don't make collecting leftover fuel easy. Nice range of sizes and shapes. Still bummed they aren't what I expected.

Okay hear me out.....they're actually leakproof. I used the green and red container so far, had olive oil and soy sauce in them. Had them in the pantry for over a week, upside down, sideways, opened and closed them, squeezed them multiple times a day and NOTHING leaked.So if you are sick of leaky containers then you NEED these in your life.

I just bought this multi-pack in store, and the two straight sided screw top jars are 1 oz each, not 2 oz. each as this description states. Based on the picture, the relative size of the straight sided jars also confirm that they look to be 1 oz each.Fortunately, the size is fine with me, I just wanted to make others aware. Otherwise this is a great deal for a multi-pack of these bottles, as they would be more expensive to buy individually. You also get some different colored caps.

The quality of these bottles are great. I don't have to worry about any leaking in my luggage. It's nice that you receive a variety of shapes and sizes (the small ones are good for salad dressing, which is something that I've had leak on me too many times in the past), but I find that some of the shapes aren't as practical. I would prefer more standard cylinder-type shampoo bottle shapes. That being said, as long as I'm using a few out of the collection, it's still definitely a worthwhile purchase, and it's always good to have a few extras on hand.
I bought this kit to replace a similar Nalgene I lost, but didn't have time to ship a single one. I wanted the 1 oz. screw-top to pack along some olive oil. I ended up using the tiny wide-mouth for some spice mix! This kit has more than I need, but very happy with the options.
Perfect for my weekend warrior trips and the nalgene no-leak is priceless. If the two jars were also leakproof it'd be 5 stars but it's a great set - I'd buy again without a second thought.
The “Nalgene Travel Kit — Medium” is great for carrying my cooking ingredients on kayak day trips. I use 125 ml bottle for metho fuel, 30ml bottle for cooking oil, 30ml container for sugar. No spills or leaks. Sturdy, light weight. Highly recommended. Thanks PAST Outdoors!

Especially useful for the aforementioned personal products, but equally practical storage for olive oil or other condiments which you may want only a small amount of for cooking while camping. I am a cartoonist and have been looking for a small vial in which I can carry black drawing ink around with me in my pencil case without disaster striking. After searching online for some tips, I narrowed it down to a $150 fountain pen ink traveller, or the 8ml bottle from Nalgene included in this travel kit. I rinsed the 8ml bottle prior to administering the ink, and was surprised to find that the container was completely dry as soon as the water was expelled. While I only really needed the one item, I can see me using the other bottles for other inks, paints, mediums, or masking fluid, as the quality of the flasks have far surpassed my expectations. Do not hesitate to purchase these products if you are in the market for leakproof travel solutions. Thank you.
I love these bottles. I travel a lot - every summer I teach in Africa and Asia and lead study abroad programs. I have used the other, very popular bottles on the market made out of silicone but the contents dry out. These bottles are perfect and I have never had a problem with them. I travel only with a carry-on and these bottles allow me to bring everything I need.
