When I bought this light i wasn't sure it would be powerful enough for tabletop macro work. It is more than powerful enough. It is generally set to less than 20% for most of my work even when using several reflectors to bounce light exactly where I want it.

I haven't even explored all the options on this light yet, but I was blown away by the power of it. In a medium sized room, I pretty much have it on 25% and it is perfect for all my video projects.If you're working on a budget, this is a must light to have in my opinion.

Unfortunately it stopped working (power switch stopped functioning)but this light worked its worth up to the last minute.protect your purchase. Lesson learned. Still however, I highly recommend it.
