Okay i bought the kit for these because i did need some light stands as i was leaving these on location. So i was okay with whatever they sent me in terms of stands. These stands shocked me and were pretty nice for a kit at this price. So good job there.I have purchased a few of their excellent Nanlite 11's which are the 7 inch on camera lights which are awesome although no real modifiers but its a soft light and i use cine foil for redirecting. They also have a controller which is odd seeing its a on camera light but perfect since i don't use them on camera. Well, with the bigger brother the Nanlite 25 its like a watered down version of the smaller 11. The soft lighting makes it great if you are keeping them within 2' maybe 3ft but after that you would need to ... MoreOkay i bought the kit for these because i did need some light stands as i was leaving these on location. The biggest flaw is that they don't work with the nanlite remote systems like the others do. I mean even their 7 inchers and way cheaper models have them. Why not these? Other then that their soft decent lux output at 4600K under a meter and are very light perfect for traveling yet seem pretty sturdy. I didn't punish them for no controller since i should have read the specs closer but seeing their cheaper little brother had a remote and they talk about the remote system with all their products i had just assumed.

I had an inexpensive pro LED 5400K with dimmer, but the light was a bit harsh, so you had to bounce it or diffuse it. I was shooting a series of interviews in different locations and wanted a versatile, easy to set up light, and didn't want to bring extra stands and diffusers, etc. This LumiPad 25 hit the spot (so to speak). The light itself is already diffused somewhat by the plastic lens so you can aim it at the subject, dim it and find the right level, but it's also bright enough that, for example, on one occasion I bounced it from an umbrella and got the perfect soft wrap-around. Another great feature is that you can adjust color temperature, down to about 2700K. I was able to dial in the right color temp to average out the two different sources and got a beautiful shot. Next shoot, I will probably buy a second one to use as fill. Very happy with price and product.

I purchased two of these to use with a copy stand that I have. They work great, and provide a lot of light. The diffuser works great as well. Good consistent adjustable light. You can adjust both the temperature and the luminosity.
I purchased 4 of these from B&H in April of 2021. Never a problem with them in the field, or in studio as pictured. Would be nice if they had a readout on color temp., but I have them all marked now so I know where 32k, 40k, 45k,....etc. battery life is good with 2 charged NP750's, over an hour.Buying 3 more today.
The LumiPad 25 LED Panel is everything I expected from the description, plus it has a nice feature I had not appreciated from my reading of the description - there are two battery charge level indicators, one for each of the optional batteries. Also the hanger that comes with the power transformer is handy for keeping the transformer off the floor.
Bought these for a little video podcast studio because they were cheap. After using them, I've bought some for myself and friends have bought them as well. Great job for the price. Get the fabric grid for them and they will do the job you want them to do.
Im impressed with this led panel, good size and build, with its battery capacity indicator. An array of 4 can do a perfect job, in my case. One detail, as this is portable. It comes without a carrying case, I wish it had one like other led lights.
These lights are powerful. I'm satisfied with this purchase. I love the temperature options and the addition of a stand is a huge help for my setup
This light is a perfect travel companion... slim enough to fit in a suitcase and powerful enough to light most of my current travel projects... also because it is LED there wasn't a problem using the power in different countries... it's fair to mention that the reps at B&H are so awesome that they prevented me for making a huge mistake... initially I wanted old school Tungsten but the rep (and I wish I remembered his name) said that the bulbs wouldn't be compatible with the voltage in this particular country and might not work there... HE SAVED ME FROM A LOT OF AGGRAVATION because I indeed got this perfect shot of the sunrise in Dubai and this Nanlite came through by properly lighting the subject in foreground... this rep saved me from losing quite possibly a once ... MoreThis light is a perfect travel companion... slim enough to fit in a suitcase and powerful enough to light most of my current travel projects... also because it is LED there wasn't a problem using the power in different countries... it's fair to mention that the reps at B&H are so awesome that they prevented me for making a huge mistake... initially I wanted old school Tungsten but the rep (and I wish I remembered his name) said that the bulbs wouldn't be compatible with the voltage in this particular country and might not work there...
