Superb under-eye coverage! The NARS soft matte complete is an incredible concealer that pairs remarkably well with my Estée Lauder double stay foundation. It took a while to discover the right combination of products for my makeup regimen. This concealer blends seamlessly after application under my eyes. I’ve never experienced any smudging or fading throughout the day. The formula is incredibly buildable, like shockingly so, and I’ve never had any caking issues. Usually, a gentle swipe in the pod has enough pigment to seal the deal. I prefer to use my hands so the formula can melt before application. Then, I apply this concealer to spots on my face, let dry a little, then follow up with foundation. Or if I'm having a particularly difficult breakout, I will use a little bit of the sticky method. For me, I can't use the sticky method all over my face because again, #blessedwithoilyskin, so I continue with matte primer then apply dots of a gripping primer over my zits, let dry (this is where a fan comes in handy) then apply this concealer, then foundation. Overall this product doesn't leave my beauty bag.💋

Best concealer on the market right now

This is the best concealer on the market at the moment in my view. There have been other good ones where the formulations have been changed and are now awful and another one that was great that is now discontinued. I had to do a lot of looking around and spending money to find this. The shades are good, it does not have a odd smell, it contains some ingredients to improve the skin and it's not a messy liquid. It goes on nicely, I use a brush with it and it does not look cakey. My skin can be very oily, so for me it definitely still needs to reapplied a couple of time throughout the day as it begins to float around on top of the oil coming from my skin, but it's still better than any others I've tried. I think it does strike a good balance in catering for oily and normal/dry skin if you're trying to make a concealer for all skin types. My only gripe is that I prefer a stick as they're easier to take around with you and apply. Although a lipstick style stick is more convenient, I would given the choice buy this as it's 6 grams of product rather than about 3 grams that you get in a stick Liquid concealers are about 6-8 grams. This is an expensive premium brand product, but I can justify it given that it's 6 grams, not 3.

I follow with a makeup setting spray to give it some extra stick. To prevent the creasing around the outside of my eyes, I sweep product back and forth under my lash line, in two directions. I also apply product to my entire eye area, from lid to brow to use as a base for eye shadow. On days I go for a natural look, applying to the entire eye area allows for seamless blending.

Go handy- tiny amounts and build!Just for reference, my usual fave concealers are Huda faux filter, Dior Forever Skin Correct, Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin and the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. I genuinely don’t think I’ll use any of these again. This concealer is all you’ll ever need, it’s just all about the application. Less is most certainly more and only use on the parts of the under eye where you really need it. Get it, you won’t regret it!

When I first bought it I thought the product quantity was quite small, however it has lasted me over a year and a half! The product itself is thick but using a tiny amount to cover stubborn acne scarring was how it became my lifesaver. I use a small brush to pick up the concealer to ensure the pot stayed hygienic. It doesn't clog my pores or breakdown as I have quite oily skin. New concealer for problem skin

I have fair skin and suffer from red veins around my nose and cheeks. I also suffer from temperamental skin that breaks out, has dry patches and can be oily on my T-zone- not a great combination! I was looking for a new concealer that would give me a natural finish and last well. At first I was unsure about this concealer and it took me a little getting used to but I have to say I do really like it. Love this concealer! I was hesitant to buy since I don’t always trust concealers but kept hearing great things about this one. It’s great for spot coverage (pimples/defining under brows). I’d say it’s probably best in moisturized areas/non dry skin. It tends to crease a bit under my eyes (my under eyes are on the dry side) so I usually need a good primer with this one. HOWEVER, I will say this concealer has given me the best coverage by far without being cakey and pairs well with my foundation when I want to go for a lighter makeup day.
