Bought 2 of these and 1 didn’t work at all. The light doesn’t come on, have tried connecting it to another power source and it appears broken. Disappointing.
Nice soft reading light which is flexible and easy to install
Mounted the unit base to the rear of my roll bar. Pros - It can be easily reached by both front and back seat passengers. Gives a good amount of light for both map and general reading. Can be easily directed away from other passengers so as not to disturb them. Cons - A little difficult to mount on the roll bar as it is pipe which leaves a small gap each side of the mount. An adapter for mounting on a round surface would be a great bonus.
