Great for summer. Breathable. Add a blanket underneath in winter and its perfect.
Thin but surprisingly warm. Great for the warmer months. It has a good weight to it for a light doona. Cotton sateencover which was not mentioned in the description. But good for what I wanted as my regular doona is becoming too hot for the warmer months.
This quilt is the perfect weight for summer time sleeping when you're a hot and bothered toddler ready for a much needed sleep, (inspite of her opinion about sleep).
I used it throughout summer and up until early April. It's thin but relatively heavy too so brings a very comforting feeling of keeping the right temperature and wrapping you under its weight.
I bought two of these doonas. They are summer weight with wool filling. They are a very comfortable weight and have been comfortable temperature during the 15-17 degrees Celsius nights and cosy during the recent 9 degrees nights. They are well made/designed. Great value!
