This was my go-to cereal when I was still eating cereal. Mainly because it was organic and tasted good. Alas, I've had to cut down on carbs so this convenient food is no longer on my diet. It was always a good value without a lot of unneeded packaging. Now with the problems with glyphosate, it's important to choose an organic grain or cereal, so this would be my top choice if I was still eating carbs.
This is a big bag of cereal so it lasted quite a while. At first I wasn't sure I liked it due to the sort of bland grain flavor but it quickly grew on me and became one of my favorites, especially when combined with some fruit. This cereal isn't made with seed oils so it's healthier than most others on the market. IHerb's current price is also a couple of dollars cheaper than Whole Foods. Try it! I think you'll like it.
I really appreciate finding an organic, healthy (fiber, protein, and low sugar), and gluten-free cereal that tastes good. It's also great to have a cereal option without rice. I love rice but it's a source of arsenic and is present in so many GF foods. No rice in this cereal! - just a healthy combination of grains and flax. The bag is a bonus - less packaging and a better price.
Mesa Sunrise is my favorite organic, vegan, non-GMO flaked breakfast cereal. I have been enjoying it for years. It’s naturally gluten-free, with the goodness of organic corn, flax and ancient grains (buckwheat, quinoa and amaranth). It is very lightly sweetened with a touch of sea salt, and retains its crunch in milk. Highly recommended! P.S. Mesa Sunrise cereal also comes in a raisin variety, but I don’t recommend it as the raisins are too hard - like little rocks! Buy this one and add your own raisins. ;-)
Nature's Path Organic Mesa Sunrise cereal is a delicious and healthy start to the day. The flavor is mild and the flakes remain relatively crunchy even after sitting in milk for a while. I like to mix it with almond milk and either blueberries or banana, and it tastes more like a treat. Love the packaging, too. Keeps the product fresh with minimal waste. Highly recommend this cereal. Even when it's eaten alone, it's still tasty and pleasing.
I have been eating this cereal for years- I get case from other source. I use a glass container to put in after opening. I ordered twice from here. The bags are short and not same size as don't fill my container. also tastes less fresh. the last order all the bags were split open on back. Vitacost was good about refunding but won't again from here- back to old source.
nature's path is one of my favorite brands of cereal and oatmeal. this product, like all of their other products, is organic, and non-gmo.it only has a few simple, healthy ingredients. no preservatives.the sugar content is low, but the sodium content could be a bit lower.the taste is good, and so is the crunchiness. raisins or dried berries are great flavor and texture additives, since this comes with neither.
