I use this acerola cherry powder in my smoothie in the morning, and I have also used it with water. My mom and I both like the taste of this product. However, my husband doesn’t like the taste as much. He can tolerate it when he mixes it with his green powder. My mom has used it as a paste on her gums after dental surgery. It is helped the healing process. Very good to apply to the gums for any issues. Can also use it in water and rinse your mouth with it for any gum problems.

One of the few organic whole food vitamin C products. And, no corn, gluten, magnesium stearate or other additives.The Vitamin C source is camu camu and not gmo corn. Camu camu can be a bit bitter.I love it mixed with coconut milk, stevia (or birch bark xylitol), water and vanilla, yummy.Or, drink it straight with water.It really kicks the immune system up when your body is fighting something.

Other powders enter into the capsule by filling machine accessory including so-called a tamper. But with this powder it doesn't go, the powder just sprays out. Let say, with other powder, I use the tamper ones or twice per butch. With this powder, I need to use a tamper some ten times or more! If to use without capsules, the taste doesn't something. However, it doesn't disgusting, but still, it more mimics drug than dry fruits. Here is another bad surprise. Nature's Way advertises that is ready capsules are available. Thay write that one dose is four capsules. But I analyzed this powder, as I always do with a new powder, by using precise weighing-machine (microne scale). My calculations give me 8 capsules for the same dose (not 4 as Nature's Way clames). Of cource, you may say, that their capsule filled with more concentrated ingredients, but if so, they sell the powder "half-empty" with annessessary filler!Finely is side effect. Not all family used this Nature's way powder. After couple of weeks we notice that the users started to be more irritable than non-users (non-users continuyed previous vitamin C powder). It is non conclusive, but after we returned to previous powder this irritability was gone. I don't mention what is this "previous" because all of them was without any side effects. It was absolutely new for me that vitamin C , among others, has sedative effect.
I am brasilian and grown up in Brasil with acerola tree(yes tree, not a bush). My mother and brothers have few trees in thier back yeard and I do not live in brasil for 25 years, but every year I go back and visit my family.I bought this product that says is pure acerola and the taste has NOTHING TO DO WITH ACEROLA and I do not know what it is, but, acelora taste is sauer. Not super sauer like yellow lemon but it l sauer like rabarba but less sauer then rabarbra with a litle bit(very litle) sweet taste.What ever a bought did not taste sauer at all, even a litle bit. It taste nothing that rimind me acerola,... I do not know what it is but for sure it was my first buy and will be my last.
not as effective as sodium ascorbate or the other nutribiotic vitamin c powders on iherb. while this is touted as food source and better for you, the effect is simply not sufficient. tried taking to reduce virus attack and it was pretty much useless. taking it regularly as a supplement makes it so expensive. will not be repurchasing as it did not have a good enough effect on us and it was too expensive. even taking the whole bottle had no effect. powder also hardened really quickly upon opening so it has to be finished very soon after opening. at 120gm it is a very small jar.
I am looking for an organic and/or plant based vitamin c and bought this because it’s in deep discounts, probably because the batch was approaching expiry. I only added to my water so the taste is a bit strange. Should taste better if added to juice or other favored drinks.I might not buy again, as taking a pill is more convenient and safe me time every morning.
