many of u know the benefits of Vitamin C. however, if the body cant absorb the high dosage, we will simply excrete it. i like this bottle as it provides 24 hrs support (not sure if it really works as it said, but i believe it stays in body longer than others)i take this tgt with MSM. 3000mg each a day (better have 6000mg a day, as i just cant swallow so much lol), it helps cleanse and support the physical body, normally I need to go pp after an hr, feels like cleansing the intestine.The minus one star, is that the tablet is too big for me, difficult to swallow.

I purchase these for my mother who has had GERD for over 2 decades. With every other brand, she complains about how it irritates her stomach, but these pills do no such thing. They are a larger sized pill which she doesn't prefer, but it is gentle enough that we will repurchase. The quality of this product is good.
If you, like my mrs, want a vitamin C supplement to boost up your immunity and antioxidant defense system, go for Ester-C. Reason is simple, it's a proprietary vitamin C which stays in your system much much longer (and gentler for the stomach) than normal C does! The lifespan of vit C inside the body is rather short and it gets flushed out through your urine pretty quickly. As for the potency, 1000 mg is good, but personally, a 500 mg tablet for maintenance is good enough. If more is needed, I can take just top up another one or two. Packaging is good, tablet size, well, as you know, may be a bit big for some people.
As most of Vitamin C supplements in the market has ascorbic acid from GMO corn which are also highly acidic, I have been very wary on the source. This calcium ascorbate form is milder with low PH level than ascorbic acid and easily absorbed. It also comes with antioxidant support with Bioflavonoid. Better value for my money!
I think the best form of vitamin C is liposomal in the liquid form but the price is a lot more.If price is not your problem, I highly recommend Livon lypo spheric vitamin c rather than this one.But when I need to control my budget, I prefer Blackmores Bio C 1000 mg. rather than Nature’s Bounty Ester C, I feel Blackmores one is more effective.The pill is big but not a problem to me.
This product caused me to choke on two occasions ! Thankfully I was with a family member on both occasions .Tried breaking them up .. as they’re not coated and rough textured. they stuck into my throat and I had to cough the bits up …Not wanting to waste them I’ve tried grinding it into a powder and drinking it in juice .. so bitter and acidic it’s burnt my throat and now has upset my stomach ..Such a disappointment as I’ve been taking EsterC for years …I’ve never had a problem with tablet size until now .. reading all the reviews I’m not the only person whose had issues .This product is extremely dangerous .. and they’re going in the bin !I’ll be purchasing my old brand in future ..Manufacturers of this product need to review it ..
