I tried using the Niacin but had a really drastic flushing reaction where my face turned bright red and tingled like crazy. I've heard this happens if you have a higher level of toxins in your system but I had never experienced it for myself. I was pretty ill at the time so maybe that statement has some truth to it. Either way, it was too much of a reaction for me to take them on a regular basis. I will not be buying them again...not because of the brand but because of this particular supplement. I haven't tried any others in this brand so I don't know if I would recommend them or not.

I used these supplements to help lower my cholesterol. They were effective in lowering my cholesterol. I still take them occasionally to keep it in check. They did meet my expectations. Overall I was totally satisfied. I definitely recommend these supplements.

Flush free Niacin is a great alternative to the regular niacin which when I've taken it has caused such hot & itchy flushing that I've had to soak in a cool tub of water. I take this before bed time because Cholesterol accumulates the most while sleeping & this has helped keep me with a healthy level.
Suddenly this is impossible to find. My husband has been taking it for years and now it's MIA! Glad to have found this.
Absolutely no flushing as it says on the bottle. Exactly what I needed. It was buy one get one free and I used my $10 carepass so it was a great deal and works great.
I take fish oil, omega 3 and niacin for borderline cholesterol. CVS sometimes has the kind I like, the 250 mg time release. But too often they only have this 500 mg bottle which is really only 400 mg of niacin and the rest is inisitol. I've read a study that says the "no flush niacin" that's buffered with inisitol is not as effective as pure niacin for reducing cholesterol.

We have used this niacin product for years. Been very happy, because it has NOT caused us any flushing- yahoo. Tried other brands supposed non-flushing, but none worked as well. The price is very good for this product.
