Naturium Niacinamide Face Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2%, Hyaluronic Acid &

I bought this serum because it contained Niacinamide and its a known ingredient that brightens. I had a lot of dark marks on my face from popping pimples. I used this twice a day for about two months and the dark spots got lighter and eventually disappeared. I do have to say the first time I used it my face did feel a little tingly but it went away the second time I used it. There is no strong scent. It sits well under makeup and it never interfered with my other skin products I layered on my face. I buy this product at Target for about $17 and during Black Friday that's when it is cheaper and I stock up on bottles. It takes me about three and half months to finish the bottle using it day and night. I love this serum for my nighttime routine, I use it every single day! I live this serum for just general use, as it keeps my skin hydrated but also acne free! It keeps my skin at a great texture, it’s just amazing for keeping up on your skin. This serum to me is like, working out 3 times a week just to maintain a body, expect it maintains my skin! This serum is easy to find and relatively budget friendly! I love this brand for many products that are effective! It’s a good size and has lasted forever! It’s worth the investment! The only reason it’s 4 stars is because it’s not my holy grail, but pretty close!

I’ve used this product off and on for about two years. When I’m not using it, it’s usually bc I’ve been careless with my skincare routine and haven’t used much. In other words, when I use this, I use with server ask other topicals. With that said, this is what I put on every morning and evening before I start layering my other products. In the morning, I double cleanse, tone with cerevae hydrating toner, and then apply this serum. In the evening, I use this right after my Dennis gross universal daily peel pads. It does not dry out my skin, in fact I feel like it moisturizes and I truly do believe it’s an essential part in my fight against pigmentation. Niacinamide is a staple ingredient in skin pigment inhibiting topicals and this is the perfect serum to deliver that!

Did not cause a reaction

This is actually first time I write a review online because I have repurchased this in a larger size. I have sensitive/normal to combination skin which tends to break out due to wearing mask at work (hospital) and always leave a mark afterwards in form of PIE. I’ve tried so many products containing niacinamide but kept breaking out and having rashes. But this one, this one calmed my inflamed breakouts just after 3 days (used one pump morning after vitamin C serum and at night after Arbutin serum) and did not cause a reaction. Also, it has been helping me maintain clear skin with no new major pimples forming the past 5 weeks which is amazing! (Had some small pimples due to touching my skin all the time but they went away quickly with no marks left behind). Glowy, smooth, less closed comedones

I use this product in tandem with a Pixie BHA toner and la roche posay retinol on my chin only- all of which are pretty aggressive. I do notice my chin gets itchy and it’s prob due to all the harshness of stuff I’m putting on my face & in that spot. I have sensitive skin and get a blotchy uncoverable rash when I use stuff like adapaline, however, I’ve had no reactions like that with this gel. I do think there is an initial period where you feel like it’s not working but stay persistent and BAM your skin feels smooth & bright. I have the best results when i apply fresh out a hot shower & my face is still a bit damp. Don’t forget to moisturize with something unscented as to avoid further irritation. Great for combination skin

I did not know this brand and did not get any recommendation. I just decided that I need niacinamide and I want to buy one for a good price. I was looking something better than the Ordinary with rich formula. This product was a big surprize to me. I highly recommend this product. I have combination skin. Consistent use of this product has resulted in smaller pores, and a slight reduction in the frequency of using blotting papers. I apply this product daily in the evening (but you can do both day and night). It absorbs well, and does not leave a sticky residue. In addition, I really appreciate the affordability of Naturium products.

I wish I bought this serum sooner! It goes on so smoothly and feels moisturizing. It also absorbs well. I’m a nurse in a hospital where I work 12 hour shifts. My face gets gross and I have to wear masks for patients on isolation precautions. I struggle with getting acne from the masks and just build up throughout the day (there’s no time to clean my face during the shift.) I’m 31 and should not get acne, but I still do. I’ve tried salicylic acid products thinking that would help, but it didn’t at all. Then I heard of this serum that has zinc and niacinamide on TikTok and gave it a try since it’s an amazing price. I read some bad reviews about this Niacidamide serum. What I can say about this is that each person and each skin type is DIFFERENT. If something works for me it probably won't work for you and this rule is for almost all skincare products regardless of the brand. It is best to try it yourself to see how your skin responds. Pretty great except...

I love all of Naturium's products. I use this, along with the Niacinamide cleanser, the Vitamin C serum and, most recently, the Retinaldehyde Cream Serum. I am always beyond pleased with the quality of their products, the results they provide and, of course, the price point they're offered at. This serum has done its job and has helped improve the texture of my skin from scarring caused by acne, it's helped even out my skin tone, it's decreased the appearance of pores - basically everything it said it was going to do!So why give it 4 starts instead of 5? Because of how it can slightly sting if there are any open areas on your face - like a scratch, a zit or even extremely dry skin. But I'll fully admit that if I try another and the results aren't as noticeable as they are with Naturium's Niacinamide serum, I'll come right back to Naturium.

This Works - My Skin Is Glowing!

I have been using this day and night, followed by Cetaphil's radiance dark spot lightening moisturizer, for 10 days now. Since starting, breakouts and clogged pores are gone. I have one really stubborn dark spot from pregnancy (10 years ago), that is FINALLY starting to lighten. I have tried so many things on it, some products have been really expensive too. I am using The Ordinary's AHA/BHA mask (the red one), twice a week too (I have used that for a long time, so I know the lightening isn't from that product). The only con about this serum is that it's sticky after drying, and my makeup doesn't go on the greatest on top of it. I have been using my primer on concealer only days now too, that has helped.
