The shoulders on this garment appeared as if they had been kept on a wire hangar. I had to wear the shirt for work after purchase and it was obvious that it was a new shirt. Later I took the shirt off and tried to iron the shoulders flat and it still was a very poor shape that did not conform to my shoulder. It was still raised up like it had a hangar mark.

The shirts did not fit well. Too big in the shoulders. I had bought the same shirt before - same make and style: performance deck shirt classic-fit polo. That one I still wear. My weight etc have not changed. I need to return the two new ones.

Bad Fabric Snags

My husband loves the fit of the Nautica Polo Shirt better than any other brand, but the material snags on contact. It is really awful to see multiple snags even before they have been washed in delucate. The fabric pills and snags on contact.

Better than classic

What a lovely shirt. It has extra details that the ordinary polo shirt does not have. Little touches like at the bottom on the side slits they trimmed the inside in blue, Inside the placket is also a very subtle blue & white stripe, it just adds such a nice touch, and of course the Nautica Sail Boat Logo. This is a slim fit polo, which my husband usually avoids, he has a slight "tummy" but this XL fit him perfectly, and he is tall but the length was also perfect. A stunning white shirt that will be perfect in the Spring and Summer months.To really be able to rate this shirt even though it was never worn yet just tried on I washed it as per the instructions and it came out of the wash beautifully. Buy these if you haven’t.

These are the best polo shirts my husband has ever had. He is partial to the pique fabric instead of the smooth knit and does not like the dri-fit feel. I was afraid when they said performance, they would be something he wouldn’t like. They look and feel like the pique knit with a tiny bit of stretch and give. The color does not fade and they don’t need to be ironed. I love them. I want to replace all his old ones with these.

Great Fit & Quality

The fit on my 16 year old son was perfect and the quality of the cotton was ideal. It feels like a high end product and looks very nice. I wish we had purchased the lemon color, but chose white for my son's conservative taste instead. Consider that the sizes run a bit large, so buy one size down or the exact fit. I would by all the colors offered!

I would not order from online. Too much hassle to return

I have purchased at least 5 nautica shirts in the past from dxl in san diego. I ordered these and thought the 3xl size would be consistent. Unfortunately the cut was slimmer than my previous store purchase. I hope they don't shrink in the washer. I always air dry, so we don't have a problem with shrinkage. I did compare the new polo's with the current ones my husband has, and it did show a slimmer cut. Wish the shirts could be consistent. I hate to send things back when ordered online, so I will in the future rethink ordering from Nautica.

Inferior Nautica polo shirt

I am deekly disappointed in this polo shirt. I've had other Nautica shirts and appreciate the quality and appearance. The polo shirt I received was worn once and already it has loose threads on the front of the shirt. While it may be your policy to only accept original condition shirts, I think this purchase is wasted money and I want an adjustment or replacement.
