The 306er has initially pressed on the left toe, but after four to five sessions he then fit well! I have but Footprint Insoles instead of the original 0/815 insoles pure, because it is really noticeable. As with any shoe, the patch zone rubs off over time, which is why you can significantly extend the lifetime there with Shoe-Goo! I like the 306 in any case now almost as much as the 508!

For a simple vulc shoe this shoe was amazing. I skated it for a total of 7 weeks. Pretty much until it was beat up and the held up great and skated amazing til the very end. The abzorb insoles worked amazing. This is a perfect simple yet very technical skate shoe. Highly recommend

Took a few sessions to break in, felt good out of the box but runs me about a half size big after break in.Grip is good, toe box shape is very natural. Flexibility is just OK. Impact protection is really bad. I'm used to Van's pop cush technology and these shoes just feel hard and unforgiving on impact.

Durable and dependable but shoelaces suffered
24 August 2021

I bought a pair of these in April once the Midwest snow saw itself out. They didn't take long to break in and felt fairly comfortable, however, I did use my own insoles due to certain feet requirements of mine, so I did not test the ones that came with the shoe.Since the purchase, there are no rips, tears or holes in the toe cap, and it's August at the time of writing this. I skate around two or three days a week along with wearing them regularly. The sole of the shoes are seeing their end of life, so I will be moving on from these pair shortly. The fact that the soles wore out faster than the toe cap for me is impressive.Though, there is one downside. I've ripped a lot of shoe laces at the top lace hole and nowhere else. I've resorted to placing tape over that part of the lace, so my skate sessions aren't busting the laces all the time. If New Balance could, maybe a bit of research into lace protection around that area.

Great Quality and great Looks
24 May 2023

I was looking for a new pair of low-profile sneakers, but just didn't want to for classics like Vans or Nike. As I have never worn New Balance sneakers before, I was a little skeptical about them, in regards of comfort and durability. Luckily I can say that they have met all my expectations and I am greatly satisfied with them.As I have quite wide feet, my biggest concern was the width of the sneakers, as shoes from other brands often start to cause pain in my feet. The New Balance Numeric sneakers do not look really wide, but the feel is something completely different from the looks. The feel comfy and you can wear tham for a whole day without any problem. Great shoe
12 October 2022

Great shoe to skate. Board feeling is great(at least for my liking). Out side hasn't ripped. Been skating them for a bout a month now only thing is the on the toe the rubber is separating from the sole of the shoe which will rip. Feel like that happens fast. But other than that good shoe.

Great shoe but sole ripped from side after 2 weeks
4 November 2022

My son had the shoes 2 weeks, under normal use the glue adhering the side and sole came free. It's a pretty significant detachment exposing the inside of the shoe. All products have defects, I don't know if this specific product has a high percentage. Sometimes these things happen. So far NB has been great in the return/refund process so I'm not concerned we have purchased many other NB products without issue.

My favorite shoe in a long time
31 July 2022

Not a sneaker head but have always been particular about my footwear. These are my favorite shoe in a long time for sure. I own the white ones as well and skate that pair. I go heavy on heel tricks and there has been very minimal wear in the heel/ankle area of the white Foy's. They have the leather ankle area that is very durable. Shape and fit of these are great, toe box isn't super narrow at all and they're comfortable for all day/casual wear for sure.

Review of New Balance Numeric Foy 306 Skate Shoes - Black/Gum
18 October 2021

aesthetically pleasing shoe, but very cheap from a quality perspective:1) Good mix of black, gum, and white.2) Very little in the way of support (ankle, heel)3) Toe area is quite narrow/pinchy4) Not really cushioned very well.5) Quite pricey for what they really areIf you're looking for a shoe that answers the issues above and at a similar price point, go for Adidas Busenitz Pro (if you can find them in your size, obviously).
