Gameplay for NBA 2K24 is great in my opinion. I think the game has multiple modes that people can enjoy. Some might play one mode, others might explore with more. If you want to just play basketball I think you will enjoy play now, MyNBA, WNBA. The one problem for many players is MyCareer mode and My team. I didnt think itncould get any worse the 2k23 but 2k sports proved me wrong. No outside game whatsoever. Shot meter is atrocious. No changes to gameplay. You telling me Steph Curry is going to block Embiid!? Come on at least make it realistic

Everything costs so much VC in this game. I bought the $100 version of the game, which came with 100K VC. That was barely enough to get MyPlayer to 70ish overall. Then, you have to spend more VC on dunks, dribbling, etc. If you don't have much spare time like me and want to have fun playing the game, you'll want to level up your MyPlayer by purchasing VC. My complaint is I spent $100 then I'll have to spend another $50-100 just to enjoy the game. Also, the game looks the same as the previous year. I really don't know why 2K can't just update the same game instead of releasing a new copy each year.
2k is hit & miss for me. Ever since they changed the shot stick, it’s been more bad than good if you ask me. The one is no different , the shot stick/meter makes or breaks this game & it broke it for me. I love the cover athlete of course! R.I.p mamba
Some things have changed from the last installment. Those changes are up for debate as they relate to the overall experience. I got this for my boyfriend. I haven't played previous versions but this one seems a little disappointing from what I've watched and kind of played. It definitely is a grinding game unless you're rich, then you can by all the upgrades you want. The world seems a little too big for what it is and is annoyingly slow to watch the character go through.The storyline doesn't seem bad? But it doesn't seem great. I've played other games that I can't put down JUST because of the storyline - this is not that game.There are a couple glitches here and there requiring a restart of the game... I don't know the frustration with builds that some people seem to have but I do see how slow the story can be with all the cut scenes... I don't understand that part at all because none ... Nice Game play overall. I'm not a fan of certain animations. Also, it's risky to contest a jumper. There's a good chance you'll pick up a foul.
I pre-ordered this item because it says i can pick it up at best buy west hollywood after i ordered, pick up option is not available but instead free shipping on yo he teceived on sept8. I ordered sept 6 then on sept 7 i got a notification that i will receive my ge on the 12th! I pre ordered to play early it doesnt make any sense! This is the worst game I have ever played. I’ve been playing 2k for years, and I have loved it in the past. They have ruined the game beyond belief. The micro transactions are out of control, it would be incredibly easy to spend thousands of dollars on top of a $100 game just to minimally enjoy it. Complete and utter corporate greed. Online play is also completely broken, the game crashes every time. This will be the last 2k I ever buy and I wish I hadn’t bought this one.
