Need For Speed - Hot Pursuit

Need for Speed is over the top! My boys received this game as a gift. Hands down the absolute best gift. They asked me to play, and we now get to race competitively, but also have bonding time. It's a win, win!

Excellent game play and graphics!!!

I can't grumble at all about this PC game because it provides everything I needed such as brilliantly smooth graphics and no holds barred game play. The cars are very authentic and handle great even when my gamepad is set at default which is a bonus because some driving games are terrible when using the analogue joystick. Another good thing about it is it's simplicity when you are setting everything up for the first time so everything considered including the fun factor I definitely recommend this game...

Very good graphics, all of the NFS games are the best racing games in my opinion. I don't do anything on line and it limits me quite a bit, but that's on me.

If you want more THRILLS 'N' SPILLS in using your racing and chasing skills.

If you're into car chases and racing games then i highly RECOMMEND this one for you simply because it's got ALL of the best production cars in the world such as porsche, pagani zonda and many more. The cop mode is particularly good too as it reminds me of an old time favourite ARCADE called chase hq but only with more features such as spike strips, chopper coppers or heli if you will, and the EMU system plus road block set ups as well. The best part of this racing franchise is simply UNLOCKING the xbox one achievements as well as unlocking more cars along the way. Immersive driving experience.

Driving cars in this game is very immersive. The sound quality is amazing, it is one of those games that makes you desire a sound system. Hot Pursuit has a driving scheme similar to those of arcade games. Controls are very exaggerated and effective at making you feel like your moving fast. It is far from a simulator like Gran Turismo 5. The customization of your car is limited to choosing the colors of you car, period. While browsing car colors there is an audio narrative about that particular car's history that starts playing. It is not game changing, but was fun to listen to. Police ramming you and hitting their road blocks does very little to stop you. They should cause much more damage to your car so you think of them as more of a threat than a nuisance. During chases I found myself being concerned about finishing first, not getting busted.The campaign is fun, you start off driving really nice, expensive cars pretty quick. I unlocked a McLaren F1 after a little more that an hour of play. Hot Pursuit is a very stylized game that is worth a shot whether or not driving games are your thing. I would not recommend it to anybody looking for a real driving experience or vast amounts of car customization.

This game pumped me up from the first trailer I watched a couple months prior to its release, unfortunetly for me, my busy school schedule (BTFU!) prevented me from purchasing it for longer than I would have liked, but it was well worth the wait! Graphics -- 4.5/5 The graphics in NFS: HP are amazing. Based in a rural mountain area, every inch is crammed with vivid scenery. Waterfalls, trees, and even the grass, make concentrating on the race at hand a challenge. Gameplay -- 4/5 Actual crashes, drafting, and NOS replenishment based on how crazy you are. You unlock cars as you progress through the game and earn bounty, and you are able to use any car that you've unlocked at any time (provided that the particular event allows it). There's no money to earn, no impound strikes you have to avoid at all costs, and no real plot behind the racing, just the climb to reach the most wanted racer in the city, or the most accomplished and skilled police unit. For those of you that like a nice story behind the madness (like I do) you will find this game lacking here,but it makes up for it in other ways. Customization -- 1/5 One of my favorite parts of NFS games was customizing my ride, the decals, underglow, window tints, and all of the other options. Unfortunately The most you can do in this game is choose your car, and its color, before each event. Difficulty -- 5/5 This isn't like Carbon or Wanted, where you can poo on the competition with little-to-no effort. Almost every event is a challenge from the start to the end. Be prepared to attempt events more than once as you try to reach the highest distinction. Fun ??/5 This particular category isn't for me to decide, I can only offer more opinion and my personal experience with the game. As a completionist this game is very interesting and fun to play because it provides a challenge that other racing titles lack. It is fast-paced, action packed, and will have any race enthusiast itching to try the next event.

One of my favorite Need For Speed games.

I first had this game on my Computer, but the game stopped working. So I bought it for my ps3 and it worked pretty fine. Career Mode (Offline Mode) is cool. I chose as being cop and racer. Made it to level 20 on both cop and racer. The police cars and racer cars are awesome. Hot Pursuit races, Interceptors, Rapid Responses, Races, Time Trails and Gauntlet missions were pretty fun. Some of them were hard and annoying, but I completed them. The free roam mode is extremely peaceful. No cop chases, no worrying about car health and no challenges. You drive across Secrest County with your cars. You'll still crash on the free roam mode, but when you spawn back on the road, the car get repaired.
