NeilMed Naspira Nasal Oral Aspirator

A life saver!!!! My son has had such horrible congestion. I got this for free to review. So glad I did. If you are the one providing the suction you are getting more than just a second of suction. it's as long as you can suck! No worries about boogers in your mouth or about air blowing into a tiny nose. There is a filter to prevent both. Also the tube detaches to become a regular bulb. Perfect all around for really bad congestion especially those nasty booger clots.

My kids are sick all the time and this has been the best way to get their nasal drainage out. It has the strongest suction. It’s bigger than the electric suckers and the bulbs. Highly recommend.

I wish we had this for our son 7 years ago! We had to suck his nose daily with the old bulb aspirator, and he hated it. We had to pin him with our legs! We've only been using this Aspirator with our 3-month-ol daughter 3 days, and she LOVES it! This morning when I got it out, she smiled and laughed and leaned in so I could stick it up her nose! It's wonderful not to worry about the nastiness of those old bulbs!

This product is amazing!! I never thought I would use one of these, but I received one for free in a registry gift bag and I absolutely loved it. It’s quick at removing mucus from the nasal passages and giving your little one some relief and it’s so easy to use! I’ve recommended it to everyone and will continue to do so. It’s a great product. Just make sure to change the filter after every few uses. :)

I sent my husband out to get this for our 5 month old when he was sick. I was originally using the aspirator that came with the saline drops because it seemed like it was softer, but ended up hurting my poor baby. This thing was a life safer! it all comes apart so you can clean it. You can actually see the snot coming out of their nose into it, so you know if you are actually getting anything or not. I actually show my son when we are done and explain to him that the snot in there is why mommy had to do it. He fusses with this, but not as bad as the regular aspirators and I've also found that it's more effective when they are laying down then when they are sitting up, which is what the instructions say to do.

I received this at work for free, tried it with my toddler and it worked great. I gave 3 stars despite this because it was much harder to use with my infant. I also feel like the material of the bulb attracts unwanted pet hair/fuzz. Not very easy to clean.

I am so pleased with this product and have already recommended to quite a few moms. My son HATED when I used the bulb the hospital sent home with us to suck his snot out. He would cry and move his head and it was overall always a terrible experience. I debated between this and the NoseFrieda, and ended up going with this one as I felt it was easier to clean since it didn't have filters that need changed.I have used this on him through two colds now, and it is so much better than the bulb! He actually doesn't mind when I use this, and will let me get his snot out. The bulb has a stopper in it so no worries, you will not get your child's snot in your mouth! Better than NoseFrieda!

Works great! I originally bought into the hype about the Nose Frida, but my baby was scared and hated it. It only works ok...it was expensive! Not only the actual kit, but the filters have to be changed with every use otherwise it doesn’t work, even if it’s not dirty.I use the NeilMed saline bottle on myself and love it, so I was blown away that they had a boogie kit for my baby.It is so functional! I love the bulb, which can be detached and used on its own. It’s soft and pliable. The rubber part that touches my newborn’s nose is silicone and rubbery, not the hard, unyielding plastic that is on the Nose Frieda. You can try depressing the bulb while attached to the suction tube, and suck of on the mouthpiece at the end of the tube in case there is stubborn mucous. ... MoreWorks great! She seems to understand that it helps her.Additionally, you don’t have to replace the filters unless they get dirty. I used this at least 10 times on stubborn boogies that only go into the removable bulb tip, so no new filter is needed. Honestly, I love this for her. I wish my mom had one with I was a baby...maybe it would have made a difference bc I was sick a lot.I highly recommend this! I’m not paid for this review or anything. I just want to help out other moms to not waste their money on things that are subpar.

Glad I tried it

I've had this for about a week now and let me tell you this is something I never thought I'd buy. The idea of sucking the snot out was, and still is, something I am less than thrilled about but to see my child uncomfortable and having a hard time breathing did it for me. I'm used to using the hospital suction bulb or the Graco electric aspirator but my second child will not let me use either without a sceaming/crying fight which in the end just defeats the purpose of using it in the first place. This she doesn't mind. I love how easy it is to clean, the sturdy materials, the fact you can take the line off and have a regular aspirater and the shape of the tip. Naspira is amazing - Never going back to nosefrida

Neilmed Naspira is amazing !! It’s a 2 in 1 suction/bulb, that’s very easy to clean, it’s extremley well built with a type of plastic that actually fits the device unlike nosefrida where it constantly pops off and has to be cut to fit it because the tubing has become stretched out . I’ll never go back to nosefrida, they are over priced and not worth the aggravation.Neilmed is the only way to go and stay! And it’s almost 1/2 the cost as nosefrida!!! I’m very happy with my purchase and it has a life time warranty except for the filters but even those are inexpensive. I’m sold!
