Bought primarily to add to apple cider vinegar and hot water. The slightly set nature of the honey makes it difficult to dissolve. Tasting the honey out of the jar was disappointing, not much of a pleasant honey taste and not quite sweet enough for me. I suppose the alleged health benefits go towards mitigating the very high cost, but I do not think it is very good value for money, and not an outstanding taste. I would go for a runny variety in future.

I purchased this primarily to coat an ongoing leg dressing. It worked so well that a couple of weeks later the wound now seems to be healed. It is delightful to eat as well not having any nasty aftertaste which some high strength manuka honeys seem to suffer from. Sold at a fair price as well. Thank you Nelsons.

Excellent product, not only just good for eating, but also on spreading on open wounds, it is really amazing, It is like a miracle in healing wounds and some skin problems. I know this to be a fact not from hearsay, but from personal experience. Well worth having.

This standard of Manuka Honey is expensive anyway, so don't expect to find it cheaper on any other site. The actual product is very high value and my husband has been taking it for about three years combined with Natural Live yoghurt. After having to take very powerful antibiotics during an illness, his gut was absolutely shot. The honey and yoghurt have worked wonders and have improved his general state of health. So don't be put off by the price, there are times when it is just worth going for it.
This honey is very good, helping us recover from this year's persistent cough, no more night coughing. Its very good in hot lemon taken before bed.
This honey looks different than others, have a different taste, smell nice, but it has no different effect than other type of honey. Since I used few month ago, daily, I've been cold two times really bad, so where is the antibiotics properties and many other benefits, if I don't feel better than before using this honey! ? I think is just another type of honey and no worth money.
Where do I start ? This is amazing, so I will keep it brief. This was a Christmas present and double my usual 15+ strength, and was I glad of that recently when I woke up feeling like I had swallowed several razor blades!!! One spoonful and they were eliminated. A warning of the flu (and other horrors) that were to follow. Two spoonfuls a day made the whole process far more bearable and shorter than I would normally have had to deal with. One spoon a day religiously for me from now on. I could go on about it's benefits, but I would be here all day. Try it.
Since taking PPIs gave me gastroparesis I had to find another way to manage my GERD as Ranitidine and Gaviscon weren't cutting it. I've tried everything from Turmeric to Apple Cider Vinegar to no avail. Manuka Honey is fantastic. I was only taking a spoonful here and there as I wasn't expecting it to work so well. It not only reduces the burning heart burn but seems to soothe and repair the damage as well. Pricey but delicious and full of health benefits.
I have reviewed this product many times before. I will however review again. I use manuka honey on a daily basis, I am convinced it helps my arthritis plus one or two other medical problems. It also increases immunity to all manner of infections. It is expensive, but taking all the advantages into consideration, worth the cost.
I buy this Manuka honey not only for myself and my wife but also our two Golden Retriever dogs. My wife and I use it like you would a normal honey on toast etc. Our dogs have Manuka honey on their breakfast once a week. I also use this to help cure any injuries or skin cuts they may encounter by putting the honey directly on the wound or injury. It has great healing powers when used for medicinal purposes on our dogs with great results each time. I would certainly recommend Manuka Honey to any one.
