Nemesis has become one of my favorite games to being to the table. But like all great games.l, if you play enough you need variety. This expansion brings a new race of enemies to stalk and terrorize your crew.They’re very Lovecraftian in nature as they use a horror mechanic that drives your crew members insane. It’s a fresh take on the game and definitely changes your approach.
This is an awesome expansion to Nemesis! It does a great job adding new depth to an already deep game. I love how these intruders are so unique from the ones in the base game.
While some aspects of the game are easier to play, we had to refer to the expansion rulebook many times. Along with this just not using a mix of minis seems strange, changing enemies is ok, insanity was definitely different and fun. All in all if you enjoy nemesis it's worth a buy, if your on the fence about complexity it may be more frustrating than anything
This is based on a coop playthrough of the expansion.Nemesis is one of my group's favorite board games, and since I got the game we've been looking forward to all the expansions.This expansion changes up the formula by reducing the likelihood of intruder encounters in favor of insanity effects, which can sometimes be more detrimental than running into an intruder, and sometimes instantly fatal if you don't keep your sanity in check. In addition, the intruder type you encounter is based on the insanity level of the triggering player. This expansion introduces some great twists on the classic Intruder model. These Voidseeders can be frustrating to beat as they rely on making the crew go insane, but the challenge is enjoyable.
Void seeders is a fantastic expansion for an already phenomenal game, Nemesis. Compatible with both the base nemesis game, and we’ll as it’s sequel Nemesis: Lockdown (with the conversion cards from the Nemesis: stretch goals), it adds lovecraftian horror to the sci-fi survival horror setting. Adding new machanics, about 70 additional cards, and a variety of fantastic miniatures to your aresenal, it’s a great way to change up the dynamic of the regular game and give your group a new experience that will add replayability. Definately recommended.
