I usually get a few hours in the morning before my T zone becomes a reflective surface, but now it's really not so noticeable any more. This product's texture is not quite watery, not quite gel-like. Be careful when dispensing because it tends to squirt out. I usually apply with just my fingers. It feels fine on my skin, never tight or uncomfortable, and it absorbs quite quickly. I am 38 years old with oily/dehydrated skin and occasionally I get pimples. Last a few weeks my diet has been very bad and I have only one small pimple under my chin. Surprisingly it healed very quickly and I believe it’s because of NeoStrata Clarify skincare range. I recommend this AHA lotion if you have oily skin as well as overall improvement for adult skin. Overall, I highly rate this product. Great formula and I’ll definitely continue to use this product.

When I received this product to test, I decided to swap it out for my current AHA toning solution (a glycolic acid solution). I am aware of Mandelic acid as a product and have used it before in the form of a serum, but never as a toning solution. I found that this oily skin solution is much more gentle than my glycolic acid toner (not surprised at all!) and as a result, it was more of a pleasure to use. I was able to use this every day as the first step in my skincare routine (after cleansing, of course!) One of my favourite characteristics is the packaging - its easy to get the right amount. You can easy apply it directly to your hands, or use a cotton pad/reusable makeup pad. Overall, I am very impressed with this oily skin solution! I have to wear a mask for the ... This product has glycolic acid in it. Slightly stronger than mandelic acid. When I apply it , I do find my skin tingles a little. However nothing alarming and the tingling sensation lasts about a minute. The consistency is thicker than a toner. Kind of an in between serum and toner consistency. You have to be careful about dispensing the product because I sometimes pour more than I need onto my hands. You have to be very gentle in tipping it over to control the amount of product that comes out of this bottle. It 's quite concentrated and I feel I only need a little bit. The product is amazing, it really controlled the excess sebum and helped my skin maintain the matte balanced look and not become overly oily throughout the day. Due to this, I can see this as possibly being irritating to someone with very sensitive skin. Conclusion: After a few weeks of use, I found the amount of excess sebum on my face was reduced (also on my upper back/neck where I break out) which I attribute to the use of this and the other three products I used from the Neostrata Clarify range. My overall congestion and the amount of breakouts I experienced have reduced since using these products. I think this range can be beneficial to anyone as gentle exfoliation is fantastic for keeping skin clear and youthful, so I definitely recommend for anyone interested in the benefits to try it. If you have sensitive skin though, I definitely recommend you don’t skip the patch testing with this particular product due to my experience.
The clarify range from Neostrata is incredible - it cleared up my acne in around 3/4 weeks. I cant believe the results Ive seen they are amazing. My spots are reduced in size and redness, and my skin feels overall healthier, brighter, and acne free. It is now my go too routine and I wouldn't use any other brand. I have also tried lots and lots of other brands/products which claim to clear up acne but none have compared to Neostrata! 100% worth purchasing as its a great price point, and my dermatologist recommended it to me so I know its good ingredients.

I have combo to oily skin, with big pores prone to whiteheads, mid aged. Uneven skin tone. Used acids before, skin tough. This toner is clear, no scent, medium runny. Contains : Water, Alcohol Denat., Glycolic Acid (8%), Propylene Glycol, Ammonium Hydroxide, Polyquaternium-10, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Polysorbate 20. Very simple formula. After cleanse I apply this toner, let it dry (allowing all alcohol to evaporate), it quickly makes my skin prepped for the serum/cream. Keeps my pores free of whiteheads and gently, slowly exfoliates. It is not too strong for my skin as I use acids regularly for a long time. Skin when using this toner is smooth and keeps its elasticity and plumpness.
I was gifted the Neostrata range to test, and I was very pleased across the board. These products are above my standard price range, but I received several compliments on the clarity of my skin whilst using them, so I'd have to say it's worth the extra splurge. I liked this liquid oil eliminating solution. I applied it after cleansing, like a toner. It was effective in reducing oil and improving my skin tone and helping me maintain a shine free t-zone. I found the packaging a little difficult, which sounds odd for a toner. I ended up pouring it into a toner spray bottle which worked much better for me. It's fragrance free and lightweight. I didn't suffer any reaction to it, but ensure you follow up with applying sunscreen to protect your skin.
