Neostrata Resurface Foaming Glycolic Wash 125 ml

This is the first face wash I've used (to try for free compliments of Influenster) that's heavy duty in getting rid of dead skin and bringing out all the impurities in your skin leaving a bright and fresh face. I would definitely recommend that you try this product in a small test patch first because you can feel the tingle effect right away so you KNOW it's working and not joking about the quality of glycolic acid in it. I have good tough skin, but found if I used it everyday and night, I would start to feel more burning that was unpleasant and definitely don't use around your eyes and go easy on your neck (I had a bad reaction by using every day and night for 3 days not realizing how strong this wash is!). I think this is because my skin was being irritated by continual acid to my skin instead of letting the powerful wash work gently and overtime. I can see if someone has sensitive skin, they wouldn't be able to tolerate this 4x a week. I found this to be more effective by using around 4x a week and pair it with the cream or lotion and gave a good amount of downtime to allow the face wash to do its magic and help rejuvenate my skin for an incredible glow. I also tried just using the face wash and paired with another cream and found it worked well on its own as well. But would definitely recommend pairing it with either the resurface lotion or cream for best results! (This is what gave me glowing skin after 2 weeks and before this I had mixed combination skin but not anymore!!) You NEED this if you're serious about taking care of your skin. It comes in a generous size and is affordable for what it does, and how little you need to wash your face. Highly recommend! xo. The picture is about 1 week after using the product. I instantly noticed my pore size was reduced, all the impurities pushed out of my skin and left a smooth finish which negated needing to put any foundation on. I tried the glycolic mousse cleanser. Not sure if the foaming wash is the same one. So my review is for the glycolic mousse cleanser. I really loved it. I tried a Deluxe sample; and encouraged me to choose it again for a work gratis item. You feel it work. It's helped with my clogged pores. I recommend this product.

Amazing cleanser!

I was gifted this product by @brandbacker and @neostrata to test and review. It foams well, is lightly scented and leaves my skin feeling nice and clean. I love that it’s not harsh. It exfoliates gently, and unveils clearer skin each time I use it. It also refines my pores nicely. There are no harmful ingredients or overpowering scents. It actually smells refreshingly citrusy. Amazing!

The resurface range from Neostrata is incredible - it honestly makes your skin GLOW! I cant believe the results Ive seen they are amazing. My skin feels overall healthier, brighter, and also acne free. It is now my go too routine and I wouldn't use any other brand. I have also tried lots and lots of other skincare brands/products but none have compared to Neostrata! 100% worth purchasing as its a great price point, and my dermatologist recommended it to me so I know its good ingredients.

It works!

My dermatologist recommended this product, and I’m glad she did! It absolutely works with helping my sun damaged skin. I’m an experienced glycolic user, and this stuff is not for the faint of heart. If you have any broken skin it comes into contact with, you’re gonna feel it. But it works! My skin is too dry during the winter to use this daily, so when I’m feeling a bit dry I’ll use this in rotation with a more hydrating facial cleanser. I absolutely recommend this product.

Makes skin so smooth and soft

I pump the foam into the palm of my hands and apply it to my wet skin. It has a nice smooth foaming texture and feels so gentle on my skin. I then rinse thoroughly with water. My skin feels clean and smooth without a tight or dry feeling. It feels very hydrating and gentle. It is a gentle but thorough cleanser and makes my skin feel clean and fresh. It deep cleans my skin and pores without any tight or dry feeling afterwards. This foaming wash can be used twice daily and makes my skin feel so soft, smooth and lookiing healthy and radiant. I highly recommend this foaming wash!

May be good if not for the scent...

I've had this wash for awhile now and Ive tried to use it a few times but this smell is so overpowering that I cannot leave it on my face long enough to see any results. It's extremely strong smelling and I'm ordinarily not sensitive to fragrance of any kind and have really resilient skin. Because I've been unable to actually use it for longer than a minute or less I cannot honestly say whether it's an affective product however I have used glycolic acid many times in various forms and I will say that I did not experience any redness or burning that I have felt with some other glycolic acid products. That being said, I'm fairly confident that if you can get past the scent this appears to be a gentle wash. I love this face wash. It has a light texture, cleans very well, and rinses completely away. I don't think any cleanser can have anti-aging benefits beyond exfoliation, but this does do that. I don't find it drying, but I have fairly oily, acne-prone skin and live in a humid climate; others might need to alternate this with another cleanser. I only wish it were less expensive and easier to find; Dermstore is the best and most affordable vendor I've encountered.
