Neostrata Skin Active Repair Matrix Support Day Cream 50g

I'll start by saying I take decent care of my skin to begin with. the exfoliating wash was gentle, while foam based, it turned thin quickly. A slight chemical scent, but no overbearing. Then I used the intensive eye cream- applied to under eye and laterals. Nice texture of cream and very soothing. Again, no real scent. Then I applied the lifting serum. A extremely tiny amount of tingling/warmth to face. Blended easily into skin. No residual greasy or oil feel to it. Lastly, for PM, I applied the restoration cream which was thicker than I was expecting, but sealed all the other products in well. None of the products pilled after application. At the beginning I thought it should be a hydrating product, but it is not. For my skin, this product works more as an anti-aging product than hydrating. It contains several interesting ingredients that are usually not easy to find together in one product. I am talking about retinol, peptides, and sunscreen. Also, it has some natural extracts and shea butter inside It has a thick texture, but I am not surprised, the shea butter, as a component, usually adds some weight to a product’s texture. I prefer to use creams with a lighter texture, but this one can be a good choice for cold weather. It will be convenient to use it in the autumn or winter season without an additional layer of sunscreen because this cream already has SPF15 inside. I should say that this product as a regular sunscreen has a sunscreen scent too. It has a rich and good absorbed texture. Not sticky, but can leave a film feeling on the skin. NEOSTRATA® SKIN ACTIVE MATRIX SUPPORT DAY CREAM works well for me. It helps me to nourish and hydrate my skin. I am not planning to use it in the summer, because I prefer fluid textures in the summertime, but this is a good product for a colder time. Will be a good cream for dry, normal and aging skin, can be too much for combination and oily types *gifted by influenster for review purposes

Unless the key ingredient is Keanu Reeves, there is no saving grace for this 'Matrix' support cream. In all serioussness, I tried this cream in both Winter Summer seasons and everytime, within 3 days of constant application, my skin broke out with zits that took Murad, Kate Sommerville Dr. Jart 3 weeks to get rid off. I had to spend more money getting rid of my break outs. NEOSTRATA is one of my favourite skincare brands, however, it's a miss for me this time. The ingredient list is filled all the essential acids for skin rejevnuation glow; but I believe that alchemy of blending all these ingredients in addition to SPF is not a good marriage. This is a product that is great for everyday use as it has SPF 30 which I love. I've been very conscious about making sure I'm taking extra care of my skin and that included over exposure to the sun. I love products that are versatile. This helped my skin both feel and look smoother while also protecting me with its spf. It did have a really nice scent of course you could smell the sunscreen but I kinda like that personally it makes me feel like it's working. This is a product that you can use sparingly and definitely don't want to use too much as with any sunscreen it can leave you with that sunscreen feel. A little goes a long way which is a great thing!

I love the way this makes my skin feel. I have mature combination skin so facial product are hit and miss with me. It has sunscreen in it so I'm automatically drawn to it as I have had skin cancer. I don't go outside without it! As far as helping my skin,it's definitely improving my skin tone and has a lifting effect. Although, I think it's a great product,price wise,it's overpriced for what it does. I have used cheaper products with good results. When I first opened applied this cream I realised it smelled strongly of SPF ( I can be sensitive to some spfs/ creams.) It is a nice day time cream isn’t super heavy however for my oilier skin it did leave me feeling a little greasy ( again, it felt a little like I had applied some type of spf cream.) Although this cream does not state it has spf on the box, I found it has stickers covering old text on the product. The old text states it is an spf 30 product which leaves me confused 😅. I cannot work out if there is SPF prevalent or not in this product (which could be an issue or hazard for some people.) If like me you have oilier skin this might get a bit greasy for you throughout the day but it’s not too bad, I think it would suit a more normal skin type better. I’ve found wearing it at home or on short outings tends to work best for me personally, and using it in conjunction with the foam and serum works really nicely too as they balance each other well 😃

After using this wash for a week, my skin felt super dry even using the moisturizers in this line. I first washed and followed immediately with the tri-therapy lifting serum in conjunction with the skin active repair moisturizer and intense eye therapy. I was only given small tubes so they only lasted one week. I referenced the sizes in my first pic. The only difference I observed was that my skin feels much more dry than before I used these products. No change of appearance of fine lines. My skin does not appear any different. My skin just feels more dry to me. My lips even seem more dry. I am almost 40 and have never had any type of filler or any work done. I am natural. Grey hairs, uneven skin tone and all. Great for sun protection!

I have super sensitive skin, and this product does not irritate my skin. However because I have oily skin it will leave a bit of shine when I first put it on. My tip is that once it has dried put on a little powder for it to not leave a bit of shine if you have oily skin like I do. It's also important to re apply throughout the day if you are in and out of the sun a lot too.

Super creamy moisturizer with SPF

Loving this! I just bought the NeoStrata Skin moisturizer for the first time. I had thought about getting it before but never tried it. I have been looking for something with ultra moisturizing effects and SPF for daily use. I did not want something that seems more like sunscreen, but really a moisturizer WITH spf in it. This is that and it is super creamy and smooth. Feels amazing on my skin. I have dry-ish skin so the thickness is great for me. I love it and will get again.

The way it makes my skin feel

I bought this product before looking at the ingredients. I bought 2. I was looking for a sunscreen with moisturiser and this seemed perfect. It has a pleasant smell, goes on smooth, immediately improving the softness of my skin. Over the course of 3 days, even after washing my face it was still feeling soft. I wish I could use this product, unfortunately I have huge pores and this product doesn't work for me. Next, I was unaware that nursing or pregnant women should not use retinol, or chemical sunscreens. The second one I gifted to my niece. She also loved it more than me, she doesn't have huge pores. However, she can't use it as she is nursing a 3 month old.
