We love and hate the Creatista Pro for several reasons. We love the machine because it really does take the best of all the other machines and puts it into a single compact easy to use machine that produces some really spectacular coffee drinks. We hate the machine because it is not built well. We bought our first machine in November 2022 and had it for 3 weeks before it broke. The machine, for whatever reason will turn itself off right in the middle of a milk frothing cycle. When I researched this issue for trouble shooting I found out that this is something that a lot of people had to deal with. We returned the machine and got another one, which lasted all of 3 days before the same issue started on that machine. We have now had to return that one and are now ... I certainly hope that Breville finds the cause and fixes it for good because like I said the machine delivers everything we wanted when it worked, it's just unfortunate that we haven't had one that has worked for more than a month. So very disappointed.

Bought one of these machines about 2 years ago. It made about 30 cups of coffee before it went into a descale loop and would not allow any more coffees to be made. Nespresso after a lot of heated discussion replaced the machine. New machine has probably made about 20 coffees and has developed the same problem I have just finished doing the descaling sequence 5 times using a whole bottle of descaling solution and it is still stuck in the descaling loop. Heading off to the local cafe to get a coffee as no chance at home.

I have had this unit for just over a month after upgrading from a very old Delonghi Nespresso model. I was hesitant to purchase at first due to the reviews I had read that highlighted issues with the milk wand and cleaning process.WELL.. we use this every day to make two coffees each morning; weekends 4 coffees a day, & this machine works like an absolute dream! Never had any issues with the milk wand and the cleaning process has prompted us maybe 2-3 times. I love being able to customise each cup of coffee and saving favourite measurements. The big water tank and large capsule holder adds to the ease of use.I would highly recommend the Creatista Pro to anyone who is considering buying a new Nespresso machine!

Purchased 24 May 2024, initial set-up was so simple with step-by-step instructions with pictures that I could read (font wasn't too small). Reading the booklet that came with the machine does help people! It's used several times throughout the day to make black or milk coffees. I appreciate how easy it is to keep clean and do the maintenance since this is triggered periodically by the machine... again, the instructions with pics stepping you through the process is fantastic. Being able to make adjustments to the shots (like having more than 1 in my cup), milk froth and temperature is AMAZING - I love that I have control of what I want at different times of the day because early morning I want a double or more. Wasn’t sure whether I should invest in a traditional coffee maker or a pod machine. In the end it was simple, at my age I don’t need another hobby so bye bye barista. There’s a great variety of quality pods out there either from Nespresso or 3rd party roasters. While this machine doesn’t allow you to fine tune your coffee to the nth degree, it provides great drinking coffee in a fraction of the time a regular coffee machine will. I’d like a wee bit more foam but maybe I just need to crank the steamer up to full blast, we’ll see.My machine is just a week old and I have enjoyed every coffee it has produced.If you’re pondering over buying what you consider an expensive pod machine then be assured it’s every bit as good as the reviews attest to. 5 stars from me 👍🏼
I bought this coffee machine 3 weeks ago for my husbands birthday. Figured he needed an upgrade after looking after our previous one for the last 10years which still has a lot of life in it. This new machine however will whip up a coffee in seconds and super easy to clean. Very low maintenance which is amazing especially when you have 3 kids under 4.
I've had this unit for 1 month. The Pro's are many - very convenient and offers many pre programmed choices. For cafe lattes, for example, the results are probably at least 80 - 90% of manual espresso machine with manual milk frothing assuming an experienced barista. I really like the ability to customize coffee volume, frothing and milk temperature. Very easy to operate - insert Nespresso pod of choice, add milk to frothing cup, use pre programmed drink formula or tweak the formula as desired and press the button! Any changes to the pre programmed formulas can be saved under a unique name for future ease. One thing to be aware of, the USA models DO NOT brew the coffee and froth the milk at the same time like the European models do. Although, the USA models will ... MoreI've had this unit for 1 month. This is because of the difference in the household electrical system in European countries (230 volt vs 120 volt). However, this is a very minor issue - just takes slightly longer for USA models. The only con - and a subjective one - is the machine uses a lot of plastic on the front of the machine - it can scratch fairly easy. All said, I have really enjoyed the machine and albeit pricey, I consider the machine overall well engineered, attractive, producing excellent results and worth the money. On a side note - I use illy pods, for example and these run around a $1 per pod with tax and a few cents for the milk. This is less than a medium regular coffee at fast food places and much less expensive than chain coffee shops where results are hit and miss - more miss than hit it seems to me! And the convenience of enjoying the coffee drink at home in proper glass ;-)
I was looking at purchasing a Breville Oracle but the hassle of grinding vs the convenience of a capsule was a major factor. Of course the taste is no doubt different but we enjoy the tastes of the various capsule selections. We have had a Nespresso machine for years but it finally gave up. I am very impressed with the Creatista Pro from the perspective of ease of use and at the same time the amount of customisation. Great features all from a single capsule! We haven't quite worked out getting the milk frothing right by tilting the jug etc. For our needs where an easy quick Cappuccino or Lungo is required this is a great machine. I thought the LCD screen would be a bit gimmicky but its excellent.I would definitely recommend this machine. We went for the truffle ... The Creatista Pro has brought back the enjoyment for me on delighting in a coffee at home. I have always enjoyed going to the local cafe and for me it wasn’t just about the coffee but rather the social experience. So with buying a machine for home, there was a bit of hesitation. In all honesty, I can say that I have no regrets. Breville have created a beautiful and easy to use machine that creates a very satisfying coffee. I actually look forward to making mine each day. I have been a loyal Breville user for numerous years and then I tried and tested other brands. After purchasing this coffee machine and receiving the complimentary matching toaster, Breville - you have won me back! The Creatista Pro is worth every cent and comes highly recommended.
