I dont know any of the espresso lingo. BUT, with that being said, I do know that this machine reads the barcode of the pod and automatically knows how to pour it correctly. So no matter what pod I put in, even if I know nothing about the flavors or strengths or cup sizes, its going to come out tasting perfect because this machine is just that smart and easy! I am inspired to learn more about the lingo and recipies, but until then I will just keep letting the machine do all the guesswork. I did google some latte art how-to's, but have yet to have any success. Definitely going to keep trying though because it looks amazing on the how-to videos! The pod capsules are Aluminum which means they are fully recyclable and they even provide a free bag to ship them in. So much better for the enviroment than K-cups! My only complaint with this whole setup is the instruction guide. There are no worded directions, only pictures. So some things can be a little confusing. As petty as it sounds, it is much easier to read step by step worded instructions (accompanied by pictures) than it is to decipher pictures alone. It took me a minute to figure out what the pictures meant when doing the first rinse. On the bright side, there are QR codes for each step that take you to an instructional video, which is how i finally figured out what to do. Overall, this is an exceptional Espresso machine that delivers rich, velvety smooth coffee that I now prefer to ANY local coffee shop!

It was rich and bold on all the different pods I tried. There are 2 main downside to Nespresso vs grind and brew automatic machines. 1. I cannot as easily customize drinks (size, strength, temperature, double shot). 2. Espresso beans are far more inexpensive than Nespresso pods. If you’re about convenience over customization, this is the machine for you, however the cost savings will be negated by the much higher cost to brew conveniently (the pods).

Moreover, the drip tray is easy to remove and empty, making maintenance a breeze. While the Vertuo Creatista has replaced my Evoluo as my go-to for Nespresso pods, it does have a few drawbacks. The pod bin is smaller than that of the Evoluo, which means it needs to be emptied more frequently. Additionally, the water tank is located at the back of the machine, which can make it challenging to fill if the machine is on a counter below cabinets, requiring you to move the whole machine to fill the tank. These are minor issues, but they are worth noting. Another downside is that the Vertuo Creatista cannot steam milk and brew coffee at the same time, so if you plan to make multiple drinks, you'll need to make them one at a time. Overall, the Nespresso Vertuo Creatista is a solid machine with some excellent features and I'll rate it a 4.5/5 (rounding up). If you're looking for a machine that produces good-quality steamed milk and looks great on your counter, the Vertuo Creatista is a great choice.

Bought this a month ago and love it! Only had Original Nespresso/ Breville Latissima machines before this one . Very easy to use, especially since all of the ‘how to videos’ are in the app & my machine is connected to app.A built in color touch screen, which started all the maintence procedures , would make this machine 100% perfect. Since it doesn’t have one , I have to watch a video first to see which combination of button presses does what. For example, I just learned one month after buying it - that you need to press the coffee button twice ( it turns a turquoise color) for milk drinks versus a single press for plain coffee drinks- no wonder why my lattes were tasting watery!!It is the least messy Nespresso machine I have ever had! I've had this a month now, replacing my clapped out and finally dead de'Longhi espresso machine which served me well, and I'm really enjoying it. Being locked into the Vertuo pods (which are still a protected IP and will be until 2029 so no 3rd party pods till then) is obviously a consideration but there is a wide variety of options available within that, though finding your preferred ones can be a bit of an expensive chore to begin with. The average pod comes in about £0.50 per cup but the milage will vary depending on your favourite, which is on the expensive side of the ground coffees, and come in packs of 7-10 depending on pod size. My experience is that when they say "intense" they mean it, it can make an extremely strong coffee if that's what you're after. The milk steamer has been easy to use and works great on both regular and oat milk for my preferred flat white. For those trying to moderate their caffeine intake, there are a few decaf options so you can have 8 cups a day without exploding your heart.It does strongly imply you should download the app... But I don't really see why. The app does basically nothing. I guess at a later date it may provide software updates for new pods. But aside from registering for the warranty, thus far its been completely pointless as far as I can tell. There has been a few times the machine has been unhappy with the pod I've put in, but just unlocking it and relocking it has fixed it every time.The build quality as far as I've got with it is exceptional as you might expect from a Sage product. It feels sturdy and everything moves and slides smoothly. It is big though and pretty heavy for what it is. If you're expecting to take this on holiday with you you might want something else.Its an expensive machine, but thus far I've been extremely pleased with it and using it puts a smile on my face. And no matter how expensive it is, it'll still be cheaper than the coffee shop its replacing in fairly short order. If you've got some money to burn and don't mind buying into the Nespresso environment Id happily recommend it.
