Neumann KH 420 -3-Way Active Studio Monitor

With these fantastic monitors I have rediscovered a relationship with the lowest octaves of music. For clarity, I am reminded of being at Angel Studios, London, during recording sessions. There, the glass division between the control room and the live orchestra would become seemingly 'air' and one could imagine reaching or steeping through the glass, unaware of it's presence.I feel the same wit these speakers - that there is no space dividing myself from the music I am hearing. The large KH420 as well as its junior brother, the KH310, create a remarkably clean sound. They are scientifically designed by real audio engineers in Germany and offer the recording engineer or producer an extremely accurate sound. (What else would you expect from Neumann?) They are tri-amped speakers with very sharp digital 24db/octave crossovers The electronics (3 channels per speaker) are built in. All the speakers need is a line level, balanced input, such as you can easily get from the likes of a Grace m920 or M905, or just board out. They are simply the very, very finest speaker systems I have heard in over 50 years of critical listening. They are pure gold. They are just super delicious to hear. Toss your hifi speakers out the window and upgrade to these very professional speaker systems. They are worth every penny, and you will never regret buying them. Just be certain you have an extremely clean signal to feed to them. Any sonic defects in source material will instantly be revealed. Not for the faint of heart!
