This condenser microphone is excellent for recording vocals. It gives you al little boost in clarity which makes it very suited for recording rap vocals or even speech. Haven’t tried it on instruments but I suspect it will do just fine.It is kind of small but dont let the size fool you, its the Neumann quality you’d expect at an affordable price !! Highly recommended!!

TLM 102 is thing that I looked for a crazy amount of time, it's character, it's truth in face like.I like how this mic captures vocals, like should be!I like that 1khz area full of content, it's sounds very real, I was amazed by it!Bravo, now I know whats real.Reccomended to all who cares about sound quality!!!

In my opinion, the TLM 102 is the best LDC microphone under £500. Sounds fantastic on every source I’ve used it on - vocals, acoustic guitar, guitar amps, drum overheads, drum room, cello... very versatile mic
Had that mic for a long time ago, but sold for the U87 (such a fool). Just ordered a week ago the bk version and it sounds exactly as before, crisp and clean! Unfortunately returned back cuz one thing is missing (the body from U87). It sounds too thin after the U87 but still a great mic! Maybe someday will buy again just to store and care it with love!For anyone who wants a hi-end mic for a great price, the TLM102 is the best mic ever and trust me, U87 is not worth it (curently selling the U87 and trying to get the Telefunken TF51).Here are some songs I made with TLM102

In its price range, this is the best microphone. How does it neumann! Great bass, and upper chasototy but lack midrange. Sounds like the pop industry. Very cool record sound live drums, and vocals. And the price is very "tasty" this microphone!
