Neutrogena Bright Boost Serum 30ml

I used this product for almost a week now and I enjoy it. My skin is smoother. I do notice a bit of extra brightness but not that much. I find the product a little difficult to use in terms of the applicator. I use another type of face serum where the applicator is a dropper where as this one is more that you have to push down on the top to use. Which makes it difficult to use with one hand. It is also very light and non-greasy. I appreciate this because I have have combination skin. Sometimes my skin is either very oily or very dry.I do however notice that there is a little shine in the serum, sort of like there are tiny sparkles in the cream. I am not too fond of that. [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I really liked Neutrogena Bright Boost Illuminating Serum! My skin definitely improved using it. I was using the Micro Polish & Gel Cream in the range to compliment it. It left my skin soft and glowing, and I did noticed an improvement in texture over time. The only issue I had was actually with the bottle itself! The pump/dropper was a little frustrating, you can literally only pick up one drop at a time with it. It does mean you have to repeat the process a few times to get the drops you need for your face, but it's a minor issue. Definitely recommend it otherwise!

The second product in this bright boost line I reviewed, I was, again, happy with the results. My skin looks super pretty after applying it, I can definitely see the extra glow. Over my pros were:- love the texture, very silky- made my skin seem to glow from within- super cute bottle, totally in love with the rose gold, and its great that its made of glass to protect the integrity of the serum itselfMy cons were:- once again, its scented (I have no problems with scent, and this one is light, but it removes an entire population from even being able to try it due to sensitivities)- I'm not a huge fan of the bottle. I found it tricky to get enough product in the dropper itselfOverall, another win.#gotitfree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] This was a refreshing serum, very lightweight, with a nice bright (almost glittery) finish. It soaks in well and lights your skin up a little as soon as applied. It has a nice light scent and was not irritating to my sensitive skin. No burning sensation! Although I enjoyed the brightness of the luminous serum, I didn't feel like my skin was receiving much hydration at the same time, which was a little disappointing. It may be simply because being in my mid 30's, it might be more suited to younger skin. Would probably suit someone looking for an illuminating serum only, without the need for deeper skin hydration/ fine lines.

Most serums I’ve previously used have been mostly transparent with a hint of colour and they’ve been more “oil” like consistency. This one was completely white with a bit of shimmer to it. I've had serums from Neutrogena in the past with the same style of bottle with dropper and they worked a lot better than this one.Maybe the bottle I got is defective? The dropper barely picks anything up. This leads to several insertions to withdraw product, which can cause product to spill onto the outside. Where, if it dries along the rim of the bottle, becomes a gritty crust.There is A LOT of shimmer/sparkle in this product. (Hence the gritty texture).It has a strong fragrance, some may like it but I find it too strong.It does not absorb into my skin. It seems to just sit on top. I love that the product is oil free, alcohol free and non-comedogenic.Since I have been using this illuminating serum for over a week now, I can honestly say that this product has wowed me. My skin is normally always red after I shower and when I am not wearing makeup and my skin (for the first time in years) is an even tone and texture. Thanks to turmeric extract and Neoglucosamine my dark spots and redness have drastically reduced. The packaging is really fun and cute too. When first applying the serum for the first time, i noticed it was so smoothing where it just made my skin feel so soft to the touch and you feel this instantaneously as you are applying it. Its almost like its smoothing your skin out so you feel no texture or anything. I did notice there was very fine shimmers in the serum which i saw all over my fingers but they are so fine they dont actually translate to your face. So you wont have a blob of glitter on your face. Its so subtle i think it would actually look great in the sun. Oh my gosh! Who doesn't love shimmer? This is literally an illuminating serum. I really like the floral feeling package. The turmeric extract reduced redness from my face. It smells pleasant, and my skin feels smoother and less imperfect after I used this product. Also, it's lightweight. The company suggested applying four or five drops, but I think that's too much. It's a little bit too sticky for me when I apply that much. I think two drops go a long way. Overall, it's a great serum. It makes my skin looks glowy, and I will purchase it in the future.

I am a 73 year old lady, and I have been purchasing a much more expensive product! I was so relieved to know that the Neutrogena Bright Boost seems to be doing a better job than the more expensive product I had been using! I can see the difference in my skin in just two weeks! Brighter, more subtle!
