Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser, 6.7 Fl. Oz

I liked that the foam cleanser easily removes all of your makeup! I personally like using natural products which was the only downside to this product as it contains a number of ingredients and chemicals that goes to your skin. I would reccoment it though as it does leave your skin feeling fresh and clean and removes heavy makeup on your face including water proof mascara. I mainly used this product after going out. You are usually tired after coming back home and this cleanser removes ALL makeup very quickly amd efficiently! Before I tried it I would’ve liked to know what each ingredient personally does to better your skin and if it helps with any acne

i used this all throughout college and it was the BEST thing ever. i recent switched to cleansing balms because i wanted to try something new and better for travels. Another amazing product I’ve been using since middle school! This product has a light, refreshing scent and foams up nicely when applied to the skin. It cleans my face thoroughly without leaving any residue or drying out my skin. I've noticed a significant improvement in the clarity and smoothness of my skin since using this cleanser. For a face cleanser this one is pretty good especially that I can find it online or in my near store for a reasonable price. It's a gel cream consistency to me that is not too heavy so when I go to message my face to clean it, it gives me a nice foamy action to help me out. Great, but all good things come to an end

I’m not sure why Neutrogena keeps asking me to review this item as they have discontinued it. With that being said, I think this face wash is the best. I have been using this for 15+ years (possibly closer to 20) and initially chose it because it was the first face soap I tried that actually got all of my makeup off with one wash and it is gentle. My face never felt like there was residue left on it after washing and it also didn’t dry out my face. I was very disappointed when I couldn’t find this in the stores anymore. Then even more disappointed when my online search found it on the Neutrogena website in the Discontinued category. I bought a few bottles so that I had a lift more time before having to go through the unpleasant process of trying to find a replacement.

MILD, ONE-STEP CLEANSER-No More "Double Cleansing"

So no need for "Double Cleansing"... which is what all these skincare gurus & fanatics are trying to get you to do. You only need to double cleanse if you're wearing VERY heavy makeup or a thick, beach style sunscreen. If you aren't, a One-Step cleanse is perfectly sufficient and saves money. This is a foaming cleanser at the end of the day so it really is only for those with Normal to Oily or Combination skin. Those with Dry to Sensitive skin might find it too drying. The pearlescent, shampoo like liquid that pumps out of the bottle (love a pump! so easy to use) produces a very soft, light lather that cleans beautifully and doesn't dry out my skin. It is 100% SOAP-FREE (very important), rinses clean and leaves no residue. The scent is quite lemon-y/zesty/smells a little like old fashioned dish soap. The cleanser can remove makeup very well, all over the face and around the eyes. Be careful around the eyes as it has a tendency to sting (I think this is from the fragrance) so be sure eyes are closed firmly. You can use this with your fingertips, a washcloth or cleansing sponge (Cellulose). It's super-affordable, available almost anywhere and budget friendly and absolutely economical. No need to spend a fortune to wash your face every night. Great for the shower or the basin. The blue bottle has undergone a packaging update in the last year or two.

Perfect for waterproof mascara

I once had a mascara that felt like concrete on my eyelashes at the end of the day, nothing would take it off! I was afraid I couldn’t use that mascara again (it looks beautiful on) until I saw a post dedicated to this face wash! I was immediately in love with this wash, not only is it ACTUALLY EYE SAFE, but it tackles the toughest waterproof mascaras! I just soak my lashes for thirty seconds, give a gentle wipe and they’re clean!Also leaves your skin feeling clean and isn’t a drying wash, so dehydrated skin will love this. Will forever repurchase!

Poor packaging; pump-top would not pop-up

The product arrived upside-down in the box, with 1 piece of brown tissue-paper packaging on top, loose. The product was not secured, and the box was much larger than the bottle. The pump would not pop-up when I tried to open it, like it usually did when in the past, I purchased this foaming cleanser in my grocery store. After many, many tries, I was finally able to open it. I have bought this product for years in my grocery store, so I am familiar with opening the pump-top. I don't know if it was due to the poor packaging?

The holy grail of face washes!

I have been using this for 18yrs and still going strong! I was using the typical “teenager” brands prior to this and when living with a couple friends just out of high school, I ran out of my usual face wash. One of my friends had this and let me use it and I have been hooked since. I have combination skin, leaning more towards oily. In winter, things get crazy dry including my skin. The rest of my body is itchy if I don’t use lotion but if I don’t put lotion on my face one day, it still feels and looks just fine. This face wash is perfection. I noticed there was a slight formula/fragrance change a couple years ago and got nervous it wouldn’t work well for me anymore but thankfully it is. WHY ARE YOU DISCONTINUING THIS?

Why would you discontinue this wonderful facial cleanser? Making way for new and improved? Well NONE of your new products does what this does. There is NOTHING in your line that replaces it so I am forced to look elsewhere for a new favorite. This was oil free plus it removed even WATERPROOF makeup. So disappointed that this is going away, as are lots of other people who have used this product for many years. Bye-Bye-Neutrogena, I'm sad to go.
