So, I was very excited to try this serum out and incorporate it into my routine especially since it’s winter time and that equals to drier skin! These two are best friends for brighter, more even skin! My pores are so much smaller looking and I have a lot less redness than before. As far as dark spots, I’m still waiting to see a noticeable improvement, but I get hormonal acne and it tends to scar so I’m not expecting miracles. The box and the actual bottle the product comes in is recyclable which I also thought was awesome. So I’m totally used to using the Neutrogena hydroboost line. It rescued my skin during the fall to winter transition. It literally brought it back to life then I seen where they came out with a new line of products, and I was so excited to use them. I almost bought one of them in store and lucky enough I was chosen by influenster to test the one that I wanted to purchase out! It crazy how things work out sometimes! Anyways, I really love this product. It is clear it’s fragrance free. It doesn’t burn. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight at all. I am glad to see so many skin care companies have jumped on the Naicinamide bandwagon, however, I don’t understand why 10% concentration seems to be the holy grail for these products. 10% could be too strong for many skin types, and I cinema it is actually effective even at half that rate. So, while my skin is a custom to serums, and it is not sensitive, if you have sensitivities, be sure and try a patch test first. Naicinamide isn’t an exfoliant, so it can be used with other exfoliating serums. It is wonderful if your skin needs to be soothe from using exfoliants, and a great complement to a ceramide moisturizer. It also works to minimize the appearance of pores, and also minimize redness from acne breakouts.
