Skin type: Oily I’ve been using this product for a few years now and it’s pretty great! It has a gel-like consistency that absorbs well into the skin, fragrance-free, and leaves my skin feeling plump. It’s especially great in the summer because it’s super lightweight. Since it’s so lightweight, I feel like it doesn’t keep my skin as hydrated during the winter season. So I use it as a daytime moisturizer and then user a thicker moisturizer at night to trap in more hydration. But for the rest of the seasons, it works great for both day and night! I highly recommend, it’s one of my HG moisturizers and I love that it’s relatively inexpensive! Note: For those with a dry skin type, they have the “extra-dry gel-cream†version of this product. I ... My skin is acne prone and combination of dry and oily.. I got this product when my acne was at its WORST. Made my skin break out more and left my skin dry. The texture is not moisturizing enough. Not worth price eiether. For those looking to improve ur skin- if u have combination or oily. My skin has I’m proved greatly by using the Clinique moisturizing surge -100hr instead. ( in winter I use this because weather is more dry) for summer I recommend cereva moisturize which is way cheaper and keeps my face moisturize and never breaks me out. I have tried many moisturizers and almost gave up before clearing my acne. I’m talking pepperoni face. If u have combination skin and tbis product does. Not work for you, try the recommend products. Great value for money. Excellent and visible results. The skin looks really hydrated and regains elasticity within a few days of use. It absorbs very well, the gel texture is cool so I thought I wouldn't like it especially for winter, but my skin really feels hydrated, so it is ideal as a day cream for these cold days that dry out the skin, but I also think that for the summer it will be great precisely because of the fresh texture it has. Of course I have loved this texture and its results (and at an unbeatable price). #skincareroutine #gifted #youtuber #contentcreator #preenmevip #makeupaddict #selfcare #beautyinfluencer #fashionblogger #ipsyos #ootd #like #preenme #microinfluencer #sephora #fohr #produkttest #ipsyosmember #momlife #fashion #influence #freebies ... I dug up this picture from 2019 and found several more that I had taken during that time because I recommended this moisturizer to my friends so much. From 2017 to 2019 I only ever used this moisturizer in my skincare routine, and I never regretted it. It was cooling, soothing, absorbed fabulously, and never felt heavy on my skin, which was congested and dehydrated at the time. Since then my skin’s needs have changed and this gel doesn’t aid me in the way it did. My preferred delivery method for hyaluronic acid is now The Ordinary’s Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2%. However, I still confidently recommend this gel to friends and family who could benefit from it, and most who’ve tried it have loved it so much that it is now part of their regular routine. However, I still confidently recommend this gel to friends and family who could benefit from it, and most who’ve tried it have loved it so much that it is now part of their regular routine. One extremely important thing to note is that any product with hyaluronic acid like this one needs to be applied while the skin is still wet, because the function of hyaluronic acid is to bind to existing water molecules and act as a humectant. In general it’s better not to dry your skin before using any moisturizer in order to allow it to seal in the moisture. Those who dry their skin before moisturizing also tend to use a washcloth or towel to do so, and unless you literally deep clean these cloths right before each use, they will quickly and easily become breeding grounds for bacteria, and also collect dust and other particles that could irritate your skin or clog your pores.
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when receiving this product, as many claim to help rejuvenate your skins hydration, while leaving you underwhelmed. This however left both my skin and I jumping for hydration joy. During the colder months especially, my hands get very dry and chapped and I am always looking for something to combat this and keep them supple and smooth. This gel delivers on both. Not only does it have a light texture that is easily absorbed, but it keeps my hands moisturised ALL day thanks in part to its Hyaluronic Gel Matrix; locking in that hydration while continually releasing it throughout the day when your skin needs it. In short this is something I will be adding to my skincare routine to help my skin lock in that extra moisture especially during the colder winter months.
This was working decently for me but it is a placebo type of moisturizer. I was also simultaneously using an actual hyaluronic acid serum. All my positive effects were due to the serum. Also I had near constant breakouts when using this. Using the elimination method I removed this and sure enough I have no breakouts now. The product contains dye and fragrance so that is definitely the cause. The cream version doesn’t contain fragrance. Also, I had one very unusual and terrible experience. One time after washing my face after the gym I put this on my face after I had cooled down and this product gave me a chemical burn that took 3-4 days to recover from. I’m sure it was from this product as it was the only thing on my face when the burn occurred. That happened only ... MoreThis was working decently for me but it is a placebo type of moisturizer. The fact that this burned my face even once is too much for me. I am now only using hyaluronic serum and mixing it with differin moisturizer and no longer see the purpose of this product in my routine so I will no longer purchase it. Returning my newly opened bottle. Writing this in hopes it may help someone else
NOT Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel! I have used the water gel since it came out and this is not it! The store did not have it in stock, so I ordered through the vendor(normally I don’t, but ratings were good). Well, I should have stuck to my gut. As you can see from my photos (real on left/larger jar, knockoff on right/smaller jar), they are not the same. This one I received is a smaller jar when it’s supposed to have 1.7oz of product, the jar is a greenish color, the top is a different texture, the writing is all different(no directions, ingredients, product info etc. like the real one has.) and there is no protective cover on the inside of the jar. Then there are the barcodes. Yes barcodeS, there are 2. The one on the box and a sticker one over it. I scanned both of them with both a scanner app that will pull the item up on the internet and also with the scanner on the Walmart app. Neither scanner brought anything up for either barcode! Not even the one on the box! Now if it were a real Neutrogena product, the barcode on THEIR packaging would pull up THEIR item.Fake, do not buy! Needless to say, I will not be putting this on my skin as I have super sensitive skin already. And I had bought this as my backup and then didn’t work for months, so I was home and wasn’t doing skincare multiple times a day and now it’s too late to return.
I have oily skin & recently bought the only option on the shelf of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Moisturiser which was the fragrance free version for dry skin.My oily skin has been getting on with that version just fine.I keep some skincare downstairs - in order to take my time over cleansing & moisturising in the evenings and some upstairs for the mornings and I needed a pot of moisturiser that I was happy with for upstairs. My local Boots was fairly empty shelf wise which is normal and they had none of the fragrance free for dry skin so I picked up the fragranced one for oily to combo skin instead. This was a fail. I can't advise on how well it moisturises as the scent has put me right off. It's horrible smelling and lingers too.I won't be buying this again ... okay so starting off my skin isnt the best; it used to be worse than it is now but still not amazing. ive had issues with impetigo, eczema, bad acne in the past and overall very sensitive skin. i have to use specific products so i don't have irritation or triggers to these issues. its been around 2 years since they have started to slow down + washing my face twice every day helped quite a bit. i ran into this product and thought it would be good for my hygiene and possibly moisturizing my face,, so i bought it. for the first couple days i used it lightly on my face n it seemed to work okay yet i didn't see much of a difference. honestly, i forgot about it for a couple days therefore i came back to it after a bit. i decided to put a little more on than usual and it ...
