Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face & Body Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 88ml

I received the complimentary product for testing purposes. Even though this sunscreen said it is suitable for sensitive skin, but I didn’t have good experience with it. I applied it onto my face, and i almost felt right away the tingling on my skin, and I felt hot (burn) as well. The liquid was very thick and greasy for me, and took a while for it to fully absorbed into my skin. Maybe this one is only good for the body, not for people who have sensitive skin. I did not like this sunscreen. On the face it leaves a greasy finish which gets worse as the day goes on. It also stings my eyes and the stinging doesn’t stop. It has a strong typical sunscreen scent which I also don’t like. On the body I find it’s okay but it still gets greasy and I don’t like that feeling. I like that this lotion doesn’t have any scent to it, but I actually wouldn’t have minded something that was lightly scented. At least it isn’t overpowering. The lotion is very thin but rubs into my skin really well without leaving any oilyness or sticky residue, yet leaves my face feeling moistured. It’s also great protection from the sun, my face hasn’t gotten burnt since using this. I highly recommend.

Thank you to #influenster and #nutrogena for sending me this to try and review. It was a nice light weight sunscreen that went on shiny but dried matte. It does seem to have a bit of a white cast but too soon to say as I haven’t tried it under makeup or in photos. I like the SPF50+ and the 2 hour water resistance. It was overall nice to use and did not irritate my skin at all.

Obsessed!! It absorbs so beautifully into the skin; leaves no greasy feeling. Smells pleasant, and absorbs so nicely you can even layer makeup on top without it melting off your face later lol. This stuff is seriously amazing being in Australia where being sun smart is even more important, I would recommend this to everyone, including those with kids that struggle with sunscreen around the face and eye area. They will forget they even applied any!! A+!!

Part 1: I received this as part of the Neutrogena VoxBox campaign along with other goodies. This is part one, as I’ll update over time for longer product quality. First thoughts are it dries really quickly, doesn’t leave skin feeling greasy and after 6 hours, my skin was still soft. It also smells lovely but not too over bearing. A lightweight sunscreen that doesn’t feel super oily or sticky. It feels super nice on the skin and works really well with makeup. It’s quite a small bottle if you’re going to use it for both your face and body. I’d recommend using it only for your face. It is quite affordable when you compare it to La Roche Posay and other brands. There is no added fragrance in this product and only has that sunscreen smell.

The texture of this sunscreen is not a very liquid-like lotion, but it doesn't feel thick at all. It spreads on my skin very well and becomes stable quickly. It's not sticky, does not make me feel oily on the face, and it doesn't interfere with my make-up afterwards.The sun protection and anti-allergy function aside, the pure feeling of use is also quite good. Even if it is very hot and my neck is sweaty, it doesn't fall off or feel oily.

I received this tube of sunscreen via another provider to trial it out. It’s only 88ml (sad). I am particularly interested in how it’s a dedicated face sunscreen, that it states that it’s a matte look products and SPF 50+. It’s a gravity-fed tube (my favourite) with a great locking mechanism. No hygiene seal on it!This sunscreen is more liquid in texture and has a more distinct sunscreen sent to it; more like a sports sunscreen (reminds me of the black tube of Banana Boat used in school).This product is a dedicated face sunscreen, hooray! Doesn’t clog pores but you burn if you don’t layer

After seeing the sheer touch and experiencing clogged pores/acne prone skin. I wanted to give this a try. 30 degree day on the Gold Coast and my skin didn’t feel greasy, amazing right! No. I spent 40 minutes in the water and I am burnt to a crisp. I have never been this burnt and I have lived on the Gold Coast for years. I ensured I put the sunscreen on half hour before going out into the sun, covered every area. I actually noticed I put too much on. My fave and hands (accidentally squeezed too much out). The only parts of my body that aren’t burnt are the tops of my hands, neck and face - the areas I overloaded with sunscreen. For 88ml this is not worth the money if skin damage if I have to use a quarter of a bottle each time to ensure I am not burnt.
