New Balance have collaborated with Footpatrol to present this 1500 taking inspiration from the most informative reference source of our time, the 'Britannica Encyclopedia'. The shoe is presented in a black leather upper used to represent the bounding on Encyclopaedia with tonal suede overlays to the toe and side walls featuring gold accents to the lace, side walls and heel surround to represent gold accents seen on spine of Encyclopaedia. The shoe is sat on a cream midsole with the footbed featuring an anatomical drawing of the human foot and is finished with a leather embroidered Gas Mask swing tag as a nod to the Footpatrol x New Balance M576 released in 2007 - M1500FPK, Leather Upper / Synthetic Sole.
