This is my first pair of new balances and I absolutely LOVE them. I was deciding between these and the 530s, went to the store to try them on. These were wildly more comfortable. I often go for long walks so these shoes are perfect!! The silver is also less bright in person which I prefer. Great option

The pull tab ripped as soon as I put them on. I also had a pair of white, gold, and silver 1906r and their n-lock strap broke the second day after I bought them. I returned both because their quality is just horrible. My 990v6 that was gifted to me came with a big scuff (basically a small chunk of suede missing) in the front of the shoe. I fell like new balance’s quality is falling off badly. Especially when their made in usa 990’s come in horrible shape.

I only recently discovered the 1906 and it quickly became my favorite NB model. It's not only super comfortable but the design is sleek, including the clever way it utilizes straps on the sides to create the two downstrokes of the "N" logo. At this point I now have a half-dozen pairs in different colorways, and after looking up past colorways online I regret not copping a few of those, too.

These babies look so high end but they’re snug to the point where you need to wear thin sport socks with them. My toes don’t hurt if I wear them all day. I don’t have wide feet. Not for wide feet unless you get half a size bigger. Then again I think it’s meant to be a snug fit.

I knew as soon as I put these on, I was gunna LOVE them!! I’ve worn them out a few times and WOW! I do LOVE these shoes!I did order a size bigger because of other reviews that said they ran small. I disagree. But even a size bigger, super soft and comfortable for hours and hours!

These are awesome! I took a gamble and got the Sea Salt ones and i gotta say, they look so much better in hand and on feet! i think the white background makes these look more yellow and for that reason i think people are sleeping on these compared to the pink ones but they look SO MUCH better in person. the base color is much more white then they appear in photos. the plastic bits have an almost transparent light yellow hue but the main color is white. on the inner part of the toe there’s a part that’s noticeably green but it’s light. I can see these being a GREAT option for spring and summer wear. As always with NB’s these will be endlessly versatile. dress them up, dress them down. whatever. comfort is a plus, but i find with this model they seem to fit just a ... MoreThese are awesome! I have no abnormally wide or flat footed feet. I have another pair of 1906s and 2002s that are both 11s and while i have to lace them a bit tighter, they seem to be more roomy.Another thing to note about these is these have weird laces. not necessarily in a bad way, just different. neither of my other 1906s have laces like this and it might be a turnoff for others especially if you plan on wearing these with more lace visible.In conclusion, these are definite sleepers. IMO much more versatile than the Pink ones. Pick these up before the hypebeasts realize what they’re missing out on!

After a month of light walking, one shoe's sole became unglued, and I am devastated. I don't do anything crazy with my shoes, just a light treadmill walk. To add to my frustration, New Balance only accepts returns and does not allow for exchanges. So I'd have to wait for them to refund me before buying a new pair, which would leave me without gym shoes for about two weeks. I would drive to the store, but I don't own a car. While stylish, these sneakers lack durability and the customer service was ok. Buyers beware.
