Making its return from a brief hiatus, the New Balance 2002r Bone Light Aluminum is likely to receive similar hype to when it was initially released back in late 2020. Falling into the genre of ‘Dad Shoe’ that oddly popular moniker has been intentionally created by the chunky aesthetic this design champions. Made from an upper that combines suede and mesh in a monochromatic creamy tan colour which is further shared throughout the midsole of the shoe. Classic light grey pads the interior, while touches of reflective material appear on the heel panel finishing what is a clearly well-thought-out and exceptionally well-executed addition to the cult-followed New Balance catalogue.
