New Balance 237 Harvest

(220 reviews)

The running shoes of the 1970s might best be described as deceptively simple. While lacking the visible technology and aggressive design of later years, the innovations of the ‘70s would lay the foundation for modern performance. The 237 is a contemporary reinterpretation of ‘70s running heritage that melds a range of heritage design inspirations into one deceptively simple, exceptionally versatile, contemporary silhouette. An EVA midsole, herringbone outsole and streamlined upper offer a classic launching point for modern flourishes like oversized N branding, extended midsole length, and gator inspired foxing and mudguard. You could call the cohesion of the 237's familiar feel and exaggerated updates the simplest way to make a statement.

Cheap foam in tounge

This shoe feels cheap, is cheap, and makes you feel cheap. The cheap yellow foam shoes through in the tip of the tongue- New Balance couldn't be bothered to seal it closed.
If you pick up the shoe and look at the seams it seems cheap and very short lived - you might make it through spring or summer with it, but not both. Spend your money
elsewhere

Style wise, DSW is doing good with a lot of their shoe selection especially with New Balance and Adidas. The trend changes ALL THE TIME and it’s awesome to see them
keeping up with it. As far as these shoes go… they are INSANELY COMFORTABLE… only issue is.. I ordered it online and it’s a size too small. Need to get a 12 vs 11.5.

I was looking for these sneakers for about a month before I found them. Sometimes it's very difficult to find what I like in my size with a medium width. Most of the sneakers
now are always wide width because of are ever changing world. But after about 6 different stores I finally found them. Maybe some day DSW will start to carry more styles in
the medium width.

Great everyday shoe
7 March 2022
This was my first NB purchase in years. I wanted a good, everyday sneaker because I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis. Love these. I wear a women's 8-8.5 and purchased the men's size 6. Perfect and my foot has been feeling much better.... Show more

Great look and comfortable
13 February 2022
The shoes have a great look that is casual without being too casual. The colors are great in combination. I like the comfortable feeling when I walk in them. The only thing I do not like is that the top edge of the tongue looks unfinished with foam showing through. I would have preferred it to be fabric over the edge to finish it.... Show more

Lightweight and funky style!
18 January 2023
Happy to have got these at a great price and they fit me like a glove. They are very cushiony and lightweight. I love the retro and classic style. They go with so many of my outfits. I love them! Runs true to size and true to width.... Show more

Makes any foot looks cool
21 May 2022
Couldn’t believe when my fashion lacking SO picked these out (in the burgundy, blue and green) and asked if I thought they’d look good with shorts and jeans. Trying to be nonchalant as not to scare him, I gave an affirmative answer and just prayed they’d fit and be comfortable. Well, lo and behold, he thought (and still thinks 2 weeks later) that they’re “super comfortable”.... Show more

(Old) New Balance -- super cool retro look
15 August 2022
LOVE THESE SHOES! Super stylish and super comfortable. I have the ever-present plantar fasciitis to consider when buying shoes. For those of you with orthotics, the provided sole comes out easily. Go a size up and they'll fit perfectly. I'm a 12, bought a 13. Got a ton of compliments. Love this color scheme. The wide heel is slightly weird looking (according to my kids, who have mentioned it like 3x), but I just think they look cool.... Show more

Pretty good, with a few quality control/cost cutting issues.

I like these. However, they are not made in USA 996's. Btw, my favorite shoes of all time(why are they not always in production?). With that said, trying these, is a definite downgrade. Stitching , materials, crooked stamped logo on heel(some of the stitching is off by quite a bit on the heel). With that said, I like the design and colors. The shoe fits true to all my other NB's and they are very comfortable. I think these might make for a nice made in USA makeover. They are pretty cool. New Balance, please reintroduce the 996 USA model. How many people can say they wore a shoe for six years, everyday(all day), with no socks? I can, and they still have some miles left on them. I would have replaced them years ago, but with no option to buy a replacement, I held off. ... MoreI like these. However, they are not made in USA 996's.
