Laces had stains or discoloration on them & one of the shoes had glue sticking out. I sent pictures to stock x & they did nothing about it. “They meet our standards.” Well I ordered a brand new shoe with original packaging in good condition. The packaging also had ripped shoe box paper & the box itself was taped together. Wasn’t able to return or get any reimbursement or even some new laces from stock x. Will not purchase from this app again.... Show more

550 is a great comfort and priced shoe
Love my 550's have 3 pair now. They take a few wears to break in, and they look great on toe. Various colors means you definitely need multiple pairs. This shoe is priced just right. When you wear this shoe be prepared for compliments.... Show more

Comfortable!!!
I have a few pairs of 550s, they are a surprisingly comfortable to wear. You wouldn't be able to tell that by just looking at the cut of the shoe but it's definitely good for all day wear. This hunter green color was so cute in person! Went perfectly with the jacket I had purchased for it. These are definitely a contender for favorite shoe style in my collection.... Show more

Defective shoe
Wanted to love. Obviously quality and inspection aren't a thing with new balance when they are turning out hard to get sneakers. Got my shoes deprived with a huge mark on the front that was painted over with white. You still could see the mark. Second pair of shoes I ordered was missing ones of the lace hole. Wish I could trust new balance to deliver however it's a toss up. Had to return.... Show more

Good looking shoe that my husband wanted, too.
I wear a 7.5 in NB women's and bought these in the equivalent size. They run longer. I kept them and wear my thicker socks. Probably could have sized down. I like NB because they are too wide like many of the shoes brands I tried. I got the blue and they look great with jeans for kicking around.... Show more

Great Purchase
I got these in the green color and I'm obsessed! I use it daily and it matches with so many different outfits, very versatile. I do wish they were a little more chunky like they look on the website, they seem a bit different in person.... Show more

Great Shoes!
been wanting to get these for a while and I'm glad I finally did. I bought the same size that I wear in the 574 and the length was just right. They are a little narrow towards the toe box but after wearing them a couple time it started to loosen up. For a shoe that came out in 1989 I was surprise how comfortable they were. The Ortholite insoles really gives the shoes a nice cushioning and enhances the comfort.... Show more

Received faulty shoe....
The right shoe I received is stitched completely wrong in the front and the material is cut messily compared to the other shoe as well as the product photo. Already contacted for an replacement and only received info on how to return so i can 1) only return and not be able to get another pair in my size or 2) keep the poor quality ones :/ really disappointed in NB's quality check. Cute shoes otherwise. Not sure if im the only person this happened to... Show more

Sizing tips
Im a size 10.5 in mens sneakers for the most part and an 11 in Yeezys. The NB 550 has a large foot opening around the heel that creates some serious heel slippage. It doesnt help that the material around the heel is very silky and smooth so it wont grip onto your socks. (The forefoot at a sz 10.5 fit nice and comfortable though.) That being said, I sized down to a 10 and there was a SMALL amount of heel slippage. It seems like the cut around the heel is just big no matter what. The forefoot still felt fine. A bit of breaking in/wear will help though as it may feel a bit narrow at first. In conclusion, unless you have wide feet, id go half a size down. I have a 'normal' foot. Slight arch in my feet, I dont have a necessarily wide or fat foot either. The shoes look ... MoreIm a size 10.5 in mens sneakers for the most part and an 11 in Yeezys.
