The best retro sneakers! So cute with everything -- dresses, jeans, skirts, leggings. They go with everything. Best of all is the comfort. I wear these in the classroom and my feet never hurt or get tired. At the end of the day I dont even want to take them off! I love them so much!

I love NB 574’s. Although I’m keeping these, the colors in the photo are NOT reflected in the sneaker. The 2 shades of blue are MUCH darker than shown (a little lighter than the navy pair I recently received). The only “white” ateas are the “N” and the heel surrounding where it says “New Balance”. The shoelaces & the tongue are beige & match the soles. Either Nordstrom or New Balance need to provide pictures that are lots more accurate as I return more sneakers than I keep!!

I’ve worn these off and on indoors and outdoors. Played about 6 rounds of disc golf around Knoxville in them, which was my main purpose for buying. They’ve already started coming unglued at the front where the sole wraps up onto the main toe cap. The paint on the heel clip is coming off which is funny because it’s white plastic underneath, but they painted it a slight cream color. The suede got really hairy very fast when gently brushing them with a soft dry brush to get dirt and small grass seeds off them after wear. The foam midsole is really too soft to hold up to any errant sticks or rocks that may impact the surface, there’s some areas that are a bit ripped up. I bought the White/Black/Gum version and love them. However, they sent me a pair that was clearly used and they returned from a customer in error! The quality control in their return process needs some help. I called FL's customer service and their first offer was a $10 coupon. Yikes! Anyway, not a great experience with Foot Locker but love NB 574s!
First, they look great. I love the style, the look, the stitching, the laces. Unique and timeless.The comfort, however, is even better. I've read several reviews on this site saying "the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn." Well, these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.I love mine! So so comfy! Really happy about my new pair of shoes. Honestly, I've never been more pleased with a purchase. All that is left for me to do at this point is decide which pair I'm going to get next!!
I purchased the gray, size 8 and was thrilled with how quickly they arrived. And then I tried them on. They fit funny; I was stepping out at the heel and my toes were squished at the top. I compared them to my HOKA Clifton’s (also size 8) and they are noticeably shorter. Going back.
Cute shoe that seems like it would be comfortable -- in the right size. I wear a women's 9, ordered a 10 and it's too snug (without socks). Nice arch support otherwise, but toes are rubbing. Also, be aware that the crimson color is actually purple. Was thinking I'd have a cute pair of red tennies, but these are a violet shade of purple.
I wanted to love these so badly, but there was just something about the fit that didn't work for me. I purchased my normal size 8, but they were ill-fitting somehow. The shoes fit everywhere but my heel was constantly riding up when walking. I tried to tie them tighter, but it just made them uncomfortable. For the price, it's just not worth it for me to have to buy inserts or heel grips, so they had to go back :(This review is part of an incentive program.
These shoes look super cute. They are comfy for the first 6 hours of work. Then, I remember why I buy Hokas for all day wear at work and extreme comfort. Sorry New Balance, you are adorable but not for all day wear. My toe hurts. Maybe I should’ve bought 8.5 instead of 8 but then shoe looks too big. Maybe it runs small?
I didn't realize when I ordered these shoes that the tongue is not fully covered. If you look closely at the photos you can see the yellow foam of the tongue on the sides. Usually there is something covering the edges or at least they are stitched together. I thought I received a bad pair but it looks like the design is intentional. I can't imagine exposed foam holding up to wear-and-tear so I returned these immediately.
