The shoe features an ABZORB midsole for cushioning and compression resistance, a dual-density midsole with both ABZORB and SBS cushioning, a tongue logo inspired by the original 991 lace jewel, a translucent CR device at the heel, and a diamond outsole pattern inspired by the classic 860 design.
