Love these shoes ! Went into the store and a sales associate helped me find the perfect shoe for running! He said these run a half size small so I went with a 9.5 instead of usual 9 and they fit great! Originally went in for the 1080s but those made my feet slide to the sides of the shoes so I was happy I decided to go into the store and try them on first ! I was using the on cloud / on running brand of shoe and they made my feet hurt very badly so I knew I needed something different! I’ve had these 880s for a couple weeks and my walks and runs have been 100% better! The difference a pair of running shoes can make is amazing ! I’ll be buying another pair to wear outside as I’m currently only using these ones for my treadmill

As soon as I started walking around in them I knew they were going to be different. The foam really supports my feet. A lot of memory type foams are too hard for me or don't provide enough support, but I felt like these were perfect. I didn't have a single problem with these shoes all day. I normally end up with several bandaids on each foot and toe, but I ran around in these with zero problems. No heel pain, no plantar fasciitis pain, nothing. It was amazing and truly shocking. I have also tested these on several runs now and they're a gift from the shoe gods. I highly recommend trying them out, especially if you ever feel like you're running on concrete when you wear shoes. These hit every mark for me.

As you get a bit older (in my case, late 20s), you once again realize you have no time for unsupportive shoes and basic Nikes you wore in your younger years. Comfort is supreme. And if the shoe also happens to look good - that's a plus! I got both of those features in this shoe. I have only worn one pair of New Balances before and it was not a good-looking shoe to say the least - which deterred me from wanting to wear it at all. Happy to say, that's not at all a problem here. I love the sleek yet simple design. In terms of comfort - there is ample cushioning. The shoe is flexible - it moves with you. Despite that, it isn't mushy. It is soft and responsive to your needs. I don't find the midfoot lockdown loose. I love how the outsole is firm and well suited for all ... I have been an avid runner for years and have tried many different sneaker brands. I was pretty impressed by this pair of sneakers. They are fairly lightweight and have really nice support. I run about 20+ miles per week and after testing these sneakers for 2 weeks, I would say they make really great everyday training sneakers. They are pretty comfortable and good quality, especially with the breathable mesh and high density foam sole. These sneaker also look more sleek, compared to older versions of New Balance. Thus, I was impressed that New Balance is coming out with nicer looking shoes, such as these. I also wanted to point out that typically, shoes with such a thick sole tend to make my feet look huge and I was satisfied that these shoes did not make my feet ... I purchased Fresh Foam X 880v13 8D in black online. I'm usually completely satisfied with New Balance 880 Running shoes for women. I am a Walker --- not a runner.I purchased Black because I wanted a black running shoe and the other colors or non-colors were abysmal.And, I absolutely hate the small "N", which appears in one place on each shoe. I simply don't get it ---- and, I think it is a fashion mistake.Lastly, I was accustomed to tying the laces in two loops when wearing the Gore_Tex 880 --- the laces would often become untied and create a fall hazard; so, I tied the laces twice. The laces on the Fresh Foam X 880v13 shoe are too short to easily tie twice.Please consider making the following changes to future versions:1. Better color combinations.2. Dump ... Heres what I Like: the shape of the upper, especially in the toes & the form of the back of the heal. And I love the sole for its give & slight sponge cussion.What i dont like is the rise on the inside of the heal sole. Really bad idea. I dont know any run/walk person who would need that, & its causing my foot to quarter-moon & lotsa pain after only my 1st week. The fabric is light & airy, but also stretches into a wide fit right away. And the freshfoam removable insole is terrible.. slips around, adding to the pain caused by the heel issue. Needs some serious grip!For the price, This needs to be way better.Its my 2nd pair in 4 mos. (I was told they had a 6mo wear) & I actually needed a new pair by 2mos.Ive purchased this shoe twice. The customer service at Sportitude was fantastic. I purchased the wrong size shoes and Seb was super helpful, even providing me with width and size recommendations to help my decision. Highly recommend purchasing through Sportitude.I purchased the New Balance 880 V13's for running however, I wouldn't recommend them for that purpose at all. They have great stability but feel incredibly firm and lack the power I've had in previous shoes. I will use these for gym workouts instead and look for something with a better energy return for running.

I have been buying 880's since version 1 and they are my go to shoe for putting in distance running miles on road surfaces. I have high arches and they provide a perfect amount of support which is why I buy several pairs a year. This most recent pair, I feel the quality has noticeably changed. I'm not sure if I just received a pair that didn't pass quality inspection, or if the design has changed. The tongue of the shoe is constantly getting bunched up and poorly positioned. The cushioning feels different. They are still good enough that I will put in a few hundred miles, but will probably entertain a difference brand before my next purchase.
