Amazing Feel

This show is comfortable and has an amazing feel on the foot. The foam looks cumbersome, but is soft and critical to the wearability and comfort of the sneaker. The
materials are high quality and will not wear down with consistent use, like other foam shoes. The foam bottom is thick. I would recommend this shoe for everyday wear or
light athletic exercise, like walking. The style and color way lend themselves to streetwear fashion as well. This is an all around quality sneaker that can be work for hours
without any arch or heel pain. Highly recommend.

It’s a monster on foot. If you can get around that, it’s mostly visual. I can see it leading to some foot contact issues in-stride depending on your form, but it’s remarkably
comfortable on step-in and really overrode those initial concerns. To note, you’re not sprinting in these, but they’re not made for that anyway. You can crank it up a bit from
your base pace, but a lighter shoe would do you better in your rotation for that.Personal issue is that it’s actually a bit too much squish for me. I ended up with some hip drop I
think because the shoe was so soft it affected my mechanics a bit. Had some post-run hip and glute pain I typically do not experience after a 4 mile run at about ... Show more

Disappointed in the X More v4 Stability & Comfort

I have been an avid New Balance wearer of your athletic shoes. They have been my main stay. I am retired and I walk on average 4 miles a day. This is my second pair of
Fresh Foam shoes and after only a month of wearing I have found these doing more harm than good in my walking regiment. I have found that the X More v4 does not have
the stability and comfort that I had with my previous shoe. I am also finding that this shoe is wearing down quicker after wearing them for less than a month. I am not certain if
it is because of there being too much cushion that I am realizing more foot pain, but unfortunately, I have reverted to the HOKA Bondi 8, which is providing the st... Show more

Disappointing inconsistency on all shoe fits
10 November 2023
Very disappointed with new balance at the moment . There’s a huge problem with inconsistent fit on same shoes and new versions of the same shoes . I have bought 6 pairs of shoes from new balance in last 2 years 4 in which have been the more v4 that I love when the shoes fit correctly. This is making this review difficult but it’s creating huge frustration and upsetting overall because the shoes are not consistent our true to size. Mentally it’s becoming aggravating because I don’t know what size I’m gonna get when I order different colors of the same size shoes. One shoe fits perfectly then one of same size is a totally different fit and shape in the same size different color . If I go up a size it creates a dent in front of shoe . I can not stress enough I wish I ... MoreVery disappointed with new balance at the moment . There’s a huge problem with inconsistent fit on same shoes and new versions of the same shoes . One shoe fits perfectly then one of same size is a totally different fit and shape in the same size different color . If I go up a size it creates a dent in front of shoe . I can not stress enough I wish I could create my own shoes because money does not grow on trees . Over thousand dollars easy on shoes is not cheap when only half the shoes bought work. Not all shoes are noticeably the right size as they where down some show there true colors once there broken in then it’s to late to return thinking oh my one pair is perfect like the other pair till they are not and start to hurt your feet instead of helping them. I have become a diabetic unfortunately and feel everything which is more pronounced especially with shoes so inconsistency is mentally and physically draining. Nevertheless shoes aren’t cheap especially when trying to find the best shoe and technology in the shoe to help everyday life more deal able for getting through the day with no pain our least amount anyway . As I said I like new balance and there fresh foam line but at this point I’m lost on what to do and where to go from here it’s baffling how inconsistent shoes can be and why maybe it’s just me but I would make it my duty if I was new balance our worked for them because it’s just not good for business no matter how you think about it . People just get frustrated and give up head to other brands when things fail here there go to brand they thought was there home for great feeling shoes. I have tried to leave pictures of the shoes which it will not let me which are same size but totally different shape and fit . Greyish black with dent and more tight cobalt blue different width but same size and width ordered . Then light blue and grey two more pair same size width grey is totally different shape and width is tighter very very inconsistent period... Show more

Excellent quality and cushion
15 December 2023
The product arrived with nice package without any damages. The quality of the product is really good with fashion design. The fresh foam technology delivers responsive and incredible comfortable cushioning, especially perfect for outdoor walking and running with no problems with my feet, knees, and spine. Moreover, the design is my favorite part about the product, stylish and durable with high-end materials. Furthermore, the breathable materials provides essential breathability and ventilation which is important for comfort during long runs. Really love this high quality with excellent cushion and stylish shoes, super lightweight and impressed.... Show more

Good start... but the proof is in the future
23 February 2024
Not sure how to rate this one.... More v 1 and v 2 received not so good ratings for durability...I bought a pair on a deep discount to wear for work standing. However, started running in them and now about 80 miles - pleasantly surprised so far!!! In my book, they are at least equal to the Hoka Cliftons I have run in and maybe a tad bit better. Each person run differently, so it is hard to say you will have the same experience as me. The real test for me will be when the shoe has 300 plus miles. IF they are as good then as they are now, I would see NB has a real winner on their hands. I have run in the 1080 and Hoka for years now.... Show more

I wanted so badly to love them...
18 January 2024
When I got these to try, I was thrilled! What I didn't realize, was the sizing discrepancy. I thought I was getting a women's size 7! Unfortunately I got a men's. Many times I can wear a 7.5 with no issues - but these felt like an 8. I'm sure it's because they're men's. When I wore them (other than being loose) they felt very wobbly. I felt unstable walking in them. It's almost as if there's too much "give" and the foam part is just WAY too squishy. It's probably more of a hazard for older people to try and wear these. It just feels like there's something "missing" in the sole. I love the foam concept, but I think there's just too much give in my steps & the sizing for me to safely wear them. Also, I didn't realize they were a "wide" fit.... Show more

Try them out good before purchasing
22 January 2024
I bought these because I have the same model but the “trail” edition, and I love them. Since I’m a nurse and I’m on my feet 12-14 hours a day I thought these are gonna be perfect, because the trail soles are a bit aggressive indoors. Well, I’m disappointed. There’s something about the N logo on the lateral aspect of the shoe that just has no give to it and sometimes causes me pain when I move certain ways. Maybe this is by design to keep you “locked in” but I hate it. The trail shoes don’t have this logo and thus isn’t a problem. I wanted to send them back 2 days after I got them but new balance doesn’t accept returns on worn shoes. I understand. But how do you know if they are wrong for you until you use them? At this price point I’m totally dissatisfied. I will ... MoreI bought these because I have the same model but the “trail” edition, and I love them. Unhappy with this new version

I bought fresh foam x V4 before. This is my second one. And I still have it. It is comfortable and stable. That is why I bought yours again.Unfortunately, this one has a smaller toe box, less stable, lighter and that is why it less comfortable and less stable. But it is true to size. You probably made changes by doing some unnecessary tinkering.I like to return it or get another brand shoe like fresh foam 1080 V14.... Show more

Very comfortable running shoes
13 July 2023
I purchased these mainly out of curiosity since the stack height looks borderline silly. I run 10-20 miles per week and rotate through several different running shoes. These are excellent for what they are -- extremely cushioned and easy to run in. From my rotation, I'd say these feel most like the Nike Invincible since you are 'disconnected' from the surface you are running on. These are more cushioned but not quite as 'bouncy' as the Nike's. I guess these NB's are also possibly a little more stable since the Nike's can make it seem like you're teetering on them at times. I do not notice a weight problem with this shoe although they by no means feel 'light'. I am running oftentimes twice daily currently due to the heat and I want to keep my mileage at my goal - ... MoreI purchased these mainly out of curiosity since the stack height looks borderline silly.
