I’m a fan! I wear these refereeing basketball 🏀. My calves and legs hurt so bad in my old worn out shoes. I bought these and wow! They are comfortable to run in. The best basketball shoes I’ve ever owned! I’m 55 years old and can run the floor with 13-19 year old kids again. I’m extremely happy with these shoes, and I recommend them if you’re trying to decide.
This is the premium new balance basketball shoe. It lives up to that by having the highest quality look and feel in the lineup. I'm glad to see the kawhi 4 finally come in a colorway I like. I don't think this is a true new balance shoe though. It's easy to imagine this shoe existing in another company's lineup. The fit is subpar. I ordered a 12 wide and 12.5 wide kawhi 4. I have worn a 12 wide in new balance running shoes for years and for the two wxy v3 and omn1. I was disappointed to find the toebox to be less wide than the two wxy v3. I think my 12 wide v3 is wider than the 12.5 wide kawhi 4. I was able to eliminate it with a runner's knot, but then it was way too tight on the tongue. There are a lot of reviews online praising this shoe, but I think if you're an actual wide-footer and typically enjoy new balance shoes then you can pass on this one.Besides the fit my only gripe about the design is the breathability. Just wearing it in my house I could feel my feet getting hot.

The shoe is a bit wider than I thought but not bad! Definitely not a shoe to wear all day.
The shoes didn’t fit and when I called New Balance they told me I was out of luck smh
