having for years struggled with too tight shoes, these are ideal and comfortable. I would though advise any new customers with 'unusual' feet if possible to visit the shop to have feet measured. The knowledgeable staff will match you up with the best brands for you. They even identified that I had a collapsed arch when I visited and I was then able to have my feet assessed and to get custom-made insoles.

Classic work shoe

The New Balance V5 is a fantastic choice for those seeking a comfortable and versatile shoe. Disappointing Comfort & Level Of Finish

I have previously bought 5 pairs of the New Balance 624 and have been very happy. However, the latest pair I purchased in late Oct 23 have been very disappointing. The inner sole insert is paper thin & might as well not be there. The finish inside the toe box is rough & abrasive. After only 6 weeks wear, the lining on both heal box areas has deteriorated significantly.

Fussy feet not happy having to purchase online just to try on before you buy.The online experience, purchase and return, deserves five stars; a seamless and easy process.However the shoes had a problem and the store that I returned it too was not interested with the problem; he just shrugged it off. The left shoe had some kind of small step across the sole which made it very uncomfortable to stand or walk on, only the left and not the right. Also the black does not feel like the white model (which I already own) a stiffer material or something (New Balance shoes are supposed to be worn straight out of the box, no need for wearing in) The other problem is the width sizing; sure it is labelled 6E but it only feels like a 4E. Great pair of shoes for work, training and play.

I love these shoes- this is my second pair of similar type/style from New Balance. They are long lasting- over 5 years of good leisure and work use. Next, the size is consistent, the old shoes which fit like a glove and the new ones are just as comfortable- from first fitting. Style- unobtrusive and understated but cool and with good styling. Comfort is great- nice fit, (research the correct size and width- maybe Rebel can make this easier for new purchasers?) and comfort, especially on the heel. Value is great- I got them on a special which just made them more exceptional to me, but price wise they are the same as I paid for the first pair 5 years ago which is great- and before the discount! Like Walking On Clouds

Special wide fit that suits me perfectly. I walk up to 40 kilometres a week to keep my diabetes in control and have to watch for blisters or foot injuries vigilantly due to my condition. I bought my first pair in Tasmania after being in a great deal of pain due to the bad fit of my previous brand. The staff at Rebel Sport knew exactly what the problem was and fitted me up with the New Balance 624 wide fit shoes. I've just replaced them after a year and according to my Fitbit, I've walked 1,700 kilometres in them. They were still comfortable and not badly worn but Rebel had them on special so I bought a new pair. I'll never buy another type of sports shoe .

New Balance MX624AB5 (4E Width)

I have worn this style and model of shoe for a number of years. I also have a white pair. They are extremely comfortable for my wider than normal feet. I use them as dress casual and when getting a bit older as footwear when completing work in our car race team. They are excellent for long hours on your feet when required on hard surfaces. After that they get used as general gardening shoes.

On to the 2nd pair after 3500 km of use.

I walked over 3500 km in these shoes. Not at once, but on a daily basis over 18 months.The only issue is that on the stitching passes over my little toes, and had developed painful corn's to form. This area of the stitching is very stiff and does not give (stretch).Eventually, my toes split the vinyl, from the moving pressure point. Band aids on the toes was a blessing.Otherwise, my second pair (yes, they are wearing well at 1,000km) and is a 2E not the 4E of the original purchase, are a lot better and the corns have gone.Too loose a fit with 4E size on the 3,000km pair was a lesson learned as the feet squirm if too broad, especially as do a lot of walking on road chambers.I do find that for me, the shoes are too long, and rub on the heels.Those blessed with ... MoreI walked over 3500 km in these shoes. Very comfortable

One of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.I don't have huge feet but my toes spread out quite a bit. It's basically fan shaped. I've been doing a lot of research on foot shaped shoes and importance of having wide toe boxes.The barefoot shoes are expensive and they provide no support. It's probably really good for those who spend their time on soft surface but I'm a office worker so I walk on hard floors all the time. I wanted something with a good cushion as well as space for my toes.I bought a 2E of freshfoam 860.
