Love these shoes & I have been wearing them for many years. I'm on my feet all day & walk 30,000+ steps a day. The soles are very durable & I get a full year out of each pair. The smooth leather makes keeping them sharp a breeze. I hit them with am Armorall Leather Wipe once a week & they look great.I wear a size 13 & somewhere along the line New Balance changed the mold. I still measure as a 13 D, but I have to order these in a 14 D or they are too small. I tried on another model at the New Balance store & had the same issue. New Balance should check their factory 13 molds as they appear to be off.There is one weak spot to this shoe & that is the material that covers the heel padding. My feet are very flat so finding the right shoe was always so hard. It wasn’t til I worked for Amazon that I found out through a friend there years ago about new balance and ever since then I buy these shoes because of how it makes my feet feel so much better. I also have medical insoles as well. I take out the ones that come with the shoes and replace them with the medical insoles and my feet feel so much better!! I highly recommend this shoe to everyone!!

I bought two exact pairs and the sizing is different between them. The shoe feels fine for the first hour and then it feels as if I am barefoot. Horrible company policy on returns. How are you supposed to become a fan of a brand if you can only return unworn products. If you trial a shoe and wear it they will not accept a return. To me, that shows no confidence behind their product.

This is the best nonslip shoe to buy handsdown. Been buying this shoe for about ten years. This is the first time i had an issue. Ordered a size smaller this time and shoe is exactly the same size as the last pair. The insole also seems to be manufactured wrong. The outside of my feet hurt everyday. I used to work 60 hours a week and never had anyfoot pain before when wearing these shoes.
Great work shoe! Great support, light weight, well made and not bad looking either!!! I find that these shoes are best suited for surfaces such as concrete or pavement or dirt, such as lawn work or walking "off road". I found them a bit slippery on hard slick surfaces such as a boiler plate steel ramp, but with that awareness, I haven't had any real problem with the shoe. Very glad I bought them and when needed, I'll buy myself a pair again without hesitation. Ya got a winner again, New Balance!!
I have been standing and walking on concrete floors in machineshops for 50 years. These are in my top two for comfort, probably second to a pairof Hokas that cost almost twice as much. The Hokas have greatcushioning in the heels but after a year are showing more wearthan these NBs. I split my time about 50/50 between the two.A dead heat. Hokas softer, NBs lighter. Hardly any lightweight walking shoeshave shanks in the soles to stiffen them. Makes all the difference.I recommend these without reservation. Just be sure you get the 626s. There ‘s a modelthat looks identical but doesn’t have the shank.
Comfortable. Slip resistant. Strong sole. I actually use these for walking outside. Live on a farm. Ground is uneven . These shoes help keep me from falling . Do you have these in white? I do not see that option. If you see this review, andCould advise me that would be fantastic.
My best fit is wide, and this is no exception. I have purchased this same shoe for several years at this point. I wear the Monday through Friday for work on cement floors. I am not worried about slipping when I walk over wet flooring. The break-in time is zero for me. I will continue to buy this shoe. Sometimes they squeak. I'll still buy them.

Realize these are manufactured leather not real cowhide so their are pluses and minuses to that, The shoes are very easy to wipe clean and very durable But the ""leather"" will not stretch at all so if you have any bone spurs or bunions these she's may not work for you. The padding on the tongue is very thin all my other New Balance athletic shoes have much thicker padding. New Balance doesn't offer any work shoe in narrow sizes. Also after 1 year the sole is starting to separate from the upper. Other than that the shoes have worn well.
