Amazing Performer With Great Durability!

Overall, I thought this shoe was amazing! The wide last was perfect for a person with a somewhat wide foot such as me, the cushion improved upon last years with more
impact protection, the traction was great, and the materials felt very nice! A few things that could be improved upon are the fit and the breathability. These run a little lengthy
in my usual size (11.5) and are not very breathable. However, it does feel like you are trading off breathability for a more supportive upper which is nice. Overall, an awesome
shoe to play in that is fun, responsive, and durable enough to hold up on outdoor courts!

It's a "get the job done" basketball shoe. Nothing amazing or fancy about them. The hi-lighter green shoes are as hi-lighter green as they look. I guess NB is trying to draw in
the young crowd that for whatever reason loves that ostentatious look; I just got them cuz they were cheaper.Biggest complaint is that NB needs to make EXTRA WIDE shoes
for basketball, like they do for literally EVERY OTHER SHOE. It's the number one thing I like about NB is that they make shoes that actually fit men's feet. The Wide shoes hurt
the first couple times, but they're actually feeling comfortable now having been broken in. If you want basketball shoes and don't want to take out a mortgage to... Show more

Good Shoe. I Liked The V3 Better

Overall, I like this shoe. If the v3 never existed maybe I would like it more. The v3 was the best basketball shoe I've ever worn. Since this is the next iteration though I have
some gripes about the fit and style. Firstly I'm glad to see New Balance continue to make wide-sized basketball shoes. That is the primary reason I continue to buy New
Balance shoes. It's big plus that they also have competitive technology in their shoes. However, the v4 has a narrower toe box than the v3, that's the most disappointing thing.
It's not enough to cause pain, but it's enough to notice less room for your toes to splay. The v4 also has a worse court feel. It's not as low to the ground and it has ... Show more

I suspect they did this because they were releasing the hesi low, but the problem is the hesi low doesn't have ANY wide sizes at the time of writing! New Balance please stock wide sizes for the hesi low or restock the v3 in wides!... Show more

Great but...
22 March 2024
Alright, these weren't for me and I ended up returning them, but I think they'll be great for other players/positions. Super stiff, and a lot of court feel just trying them on. So for some guards, you'll love these for that reason alone. I tend to prefer a bit more bounce and will sacrifice court feel for the sake having a little more spring in my step. So I'm just stating my bias, but I can appreciate that these are great shoes even if they don't work for my style of play. But I loved how easy they were to get on, the lockdown, how light they were, and they look awesome. Also Hibbet was so quick to ship these and then process my return afterward, so I always love buying from them when they have what I want in stock. So I recommend Hibbet and these shoes for guards ... MoreAlright, these weren't for me and I ended up returning them, but I think they'll be great for other players/positions. Great Daily Hooping Shoe -Durable and Has Traction
1 February 2024
Got several pairs for my Son as gifts. My son is a hooper and plays 3-5 times a week both in skills training and on his AAU Team practicing. He goes through a lot of shoes and these shoes are great. Has good traction and great ankle support. Comfy for him and he can make good cuts without the shoe being compromised. They also have great durability especially for the volume of work he goes through during the week with hooping and practicing. Highly Recommended.... Show more

New Balance Needs B-ball Marketing
6 February 2024
This was well reviewed and looks like a great shoe but my kid will not wear it. It looks ideal for insoles (Move Game Day, Orthotic, etc), but New Balance will have to do more basketball marketing and get some great players (make and female) to endorse these. My daughter says the other girls on the team will laugh or bully kids who wear these. So I made a mistake and now it looks like the return is not going through and I need to call customer service. Never wore them. Barely got angry teen to try these on. And it is weird because casual New Balances are "cool" to wear to school (and all the cool kids have them), just don't be caught dead in the basketball shoes. I am old and made a lame (not cool) parent mistake of assuming bball New Balance is cool and lit some ... MoreThis was well reviewed and looks like a great shoe but my kid will not wear it. Not a proper sequel to v3
27 November 2023
Longer, taller and narrower than the two wxy v3. All downgrades. The traction isn't nearly as good either. The v3 hit above its weight, but these are very meh. Remind me of hyper dunks circa 2011. Decent cushion, but disconnected from the court and slightly rollover sprain prone. The v3 was a nearly perfect guard shoe. It had amazing grip, court feel and was very stable. Wish NB had kept going in that direction, but instead, they tried to cram fresh foam in and made a dud. I guess it’s ok for big players who never cut side to side. Is that still a thing? Fingers crossed for v5.... Show more

Not durable enough for outdoor courts!
31 December 2023
I ordered this shoe and it shipped on 11-02-23, Today is 12-31-23 and I have a smooth spot on both of the soles at my toe. I play pickleball outdoor in Austin Texas and at the gym on a painted court that is about as textured as the outdoor tennis court at the parks. I wish they used a more abrasion resistant rubber on the outer sole of this shoe. I would be ordering 2 more pairs today instead of looking for a shoe with a better outsole. I do not play every day, I travel for work and really only play when I am in Austin so its not like I am playing 8 hrs a day of pickleball for the last month and a half. Let's assume I average 4 hrs of pickleball when I play. I received the shoes when I was home for work hoping I would get to play before I got back to Austin But I ... MoreI ordered this shoe and it shipped on 11-02-23, Today is 12-31-23 and I have a smooth spot on both of the soles at my toe. That is not a lot of days of pickleball:/ These wont last much longer as I am already noticing some slipping when I take off or stop on toe of the shoes.... Show more

NOTHING like two wxy v3
1 February 2024
Higher, longer and narrower than the v3. Killed all the best and unique things about the last version. The v3 were my favorite bball shoes. Low to the ground, great grip, wide toe box. I never feel off balance when I play in them. These v4s are like playing on squishy stilts in comparison. I guess they’re better for bigs who never cut laterally and need protection when they land with no feet under them, but that’s not the way basketball’s played where I live.... Show more

Not true to size
1 December 2023
I am a 12.5-13 Wide (somewhere between 2E and 4E width) size foot.I bought a 13 Wide and a 14 Wide in these because my TWO WXY V2 and V3s that I have in 13 Wide are honestly too tight and painful. The V4s are also too tight in a 13W: too narrow in width and not long enough for my ring and pinky toes. New Balance needs to find a new model/foot for these TWO WXY shoes. I never had a problem with their sizing in their other shoes. I think what I am finding is there is not a lot of toe height in the TWO WXY shoes, so even though the base of the shoe without an in-sole may be true to size, once they add an in-sole your toes are pressed higher up into the shoe, where it is shorter and narrower. The 14W actually feel like my size but just my pinky toe is still a little ... MoreI am a 12.5-13 Wide (somewhere between 2E and 4E width) size foot.I bought a 13 Wide and a 14 Wide in these because my TWO WXY V2 and V3s that I have in 13 Wide are honestly too tight and painful. The V4s are also too tight in a 13W: too narrow in width and not long enough for my ring and pinky toes.
