These shoes are very comfortable. I was looking for some casual shoes that I could use that would not tire me after a couple of hours walking, and these are perfect! The first time I wore them, I did have to break them in a bit, but after that, they've been incredibly comfortable. I recently recovered from a broken ankle and have been gradually increasing my walking distance. These shoes have been great in providing the support and cushioning I need. They’ve really helped me ease back into my routine without discomfort.

I bought these shoes for my daughter in a size 7 she is 14 and has narrow, long feet. she loves them. They’re trendy and neutral which is what she wanted for her clothes to match. Unfortunately the same shoe wasn’t made for wide feet. My younger son has flat feet and we tried getting a size bigger (8 M) and it still was uncomfortable. So if you’re debating whether to get these shoes I’d say go for it if you have skinny, long feet! Other than that they’re great!

I'd say in person they're not as nice as I had expected, but still a good pair of shoes. If they were on sale I would have gotten the white with black accents color way as it looks a little more modern. In the navy blue, they feel like dad shoes. Depends on your style but these shoes aren't bad. The size for me was good and they were comfortable enough, but I wouldn't say stand out. Overall a good price (purchased at 37.78), but good about sums it up.

New Balance has a history of selling shoes in wide and extraWide. Unfortunately, they have missed the mark and market opportunity with the 480. You have a unique chance and opportunity to pick up customers that want the style similar to Nike Court or Dunks, or the Classic DC Shoes Pure style. Instead, you’ve got nothing but air….I’d be more than glad to discuss in depth with your team.
My favorite style. They’re true to size. The toe box is roomy, so my toes aren’t crammed. This is my second pair. Can wear with anything. The only thing I don’t like is the logo. The edges are hanging loose. Hopefully they won’t start curling up. Other than that these are perfect shoes that look very neat and somehow make my feet look smaller.
They are very comfortable with a nice, roomy toe box, which is kind of a rounded box style. The insoles are ortholite foam and feel really good walking around on. Shoe fit true to size and makes for a great chill shoe. This is NOT a skate shoe within new balances numeric line, and will deteriorate faster due to being a basketball shoe. Best for walking. By rights, I should have returned the shoes. The quality control finish on the shoe cuts is not 100%. I decided to try and correct the issue myself. Defective shoe parts should not be used. I should not have to try and repair the shoes out of the box. But I did. My bad. Now I can’t return the shoes in good faith. The return process was not worth it to me in this case. I will think twice before my next purchase.
Some say not wide enough... maybe those are people who require extra wide fit. I almost always have to get NB shoes in wide, but decided to try these out since they have easy return policy. I'm so glad I got these! Instantly comfortable out of the box and wide enough for my feet. I was also concerned might not have enough support, but these do well. I don't need extra inserts. Very happy customer! I'll be getting another pair in a different color scheme soon
I ordered these shoes planning on I would have to return them as I mostly have to do shoes I order...Going through chemotherapy and radiation changes your body and in my face left my feet numb and hurting... For the FIRST time in 8 years I have finally discovered New Balance 480s... These are truly miracle shoes for me! These sneakers are like a HUG for my feet... my numbness in my feet has even improved... since wearing these. I can't wait to get up each day and wear my stylish, but most importably, comfortable and "healing" shoes in my case!! THANK YOU NB... I am now 70 years young and out and about again as if my 22 ... (WELL, ALMOST!) NOTHING is slowing me down now! I am truly thankful for your company and it's invention of the New Balance 480!
These are really uncomfortable. Whatever plasticky material they use is really stiff and folds on my feet in a painful way. I’m really unsure if these will be broken in eventually because the material is really tough and they’re not built like normal nbs. I’m pretty disappointed because they look cool and usually new balance is high quality. Not these.
