New Balance Unisex 574 Blue Laguna/Sea Salt - Size 7

(282 reviews)

Women's New Balance 574 - Blue - Low-top sneakers The most New Balance shoe ever' says it all, right? No, actually. The 574 might be our unlikeliest icon. The 574 was built to be a reliable shoe that could do a lot of different things well rather than as a platform for revolutionary technology, or as a premium materials showcase. This unassuming, unpretentious versatility is exactly what launched the 574 into the ranks of all-time greats. As hybrid road/trail design built on a wider last than the previous generation's narrow racing silhouettes, the 574 offered a uniquely versatile mix of new, different, uncomplicated, rugged, durable, and comfortable that was adopted as a closet staple across the globe. That's why today, the 574 is synonymous with the boundary defying New Balance style, and worn by anyone.

Bad taste on the tounge

Unfinished tounge. Would have kept the shoe but quickly returned after missing that. Would have even bought a tounge replacement to keep the shoe. This new style will
quickly fall apart. Returned the store at store and saw Nike doing the same.

I hope this tongue change isn’t for all the 574s. This has been my favorite shoe in the past. I always get them and have owned a bunch of colors. The new tongue looks sloppy
and cheap and the show is still almost 90 bucks! The tongue also looks less durable.

I’ve worn these off and on indoors and outdoors. Played about 6 rounds of disc golf around Knoxville in them, which was my main purpose for buying. They’ve already started
coming unglued at the front where the sole wraps up onto the main toe cap. The paint on the heel clip is coming off which is funny because it’s white plastic underneath, but
they painted it a slight cream color. The suede got really hairy very fast when gently brushing them with a soft dry brush to get dirt and small grass seeds off them after wear.
The foam midsole is really too soft to hold up to any errant sticks or rocks that may impact the surface, there’s some areas that are a bit ripped up. I’m not hard ... Show more

I’m not hard on my shoes and it’s not like I’ve been hiking in these in rugged trail. Lastly the shoe’s last is way too soft for any extended standing or high impact running. It’s totally a real casual sneaker and not worth it’s full retail price, I’m glad I paid much less for these by buying them from Going Going Gone, otherwise I’d be livid. New balance only has a year warranty for certain issues and these don’t qualify unlike other brands that stand behind their product. Just disappointed because I’ve had other NB that held up much better.... Show more

Different department: separate from Macys
7 June 2024
Macys staff are always polite and helpful, apparently gym shoes sold in Kenwood are separate and independently owned. I don’t know how I feel about this product: but I can tell you that some of the staff members don’t belong in retail; and certainly reflect poorly on Macys! If I’d known in advance I wouldn’t have made the purchase there. Rude and impolite, unknowledgeable about their products and not helpful at all.... Show more

Great Shoes as Always
7 April 2024
I bought these right before a trip to Vegas where you gotta do a lot of walking on the strip, not only did the break in easy the week before, but I put close to 15 miles a day on them and my feet still felt great, no blisters or anything. Very happy with the shoes and the color of blue looks fantastic and really pops. As always, I will continue to buy these shoes.... Show more

I don’t think I’ll ever wear another shoe!
31 January 2024
These are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. They are versatile even given the unique green color. I wore them the entire day and had zero discomfort! I’ll be buying in other colors! 10/10 recommend!... Show more

Love them!
10 June 2024
I bought them a month ago and I am super happy as I made an excellent choice by choosing and buying my beautiful pair of trainers NB! In reality, they are even much more than I was hoping for and much more beautiful and comfortable than I was expecting. And I also got a great deal on them! I enjoyed a nice discount on them at that time! Thank you, Asos!... Show more

Sadly returned
19 June 2024
Having worn my previous pair of New Balance trainers out I decided to purchase another pair. Unfortunately these 'replacements, left me cold. Not only could I barely get them on despite the fact I have very narrow feet but the tongue edges had the foam exposed leaving the whole trainer with an unfinished appearance. Other reviews said this was barely noticeable but unfortunately it was a part of the design that I found particularly unappealing. Very disappointed.... Show more

So far so good
21 November 2023
Honestly, the first day I wearn these shoes, I thought it was an unnecessary expense. I also didn't feel the comfort. But there after, I used to wear them. If they can sustain the shape for a long time, I will consider it's the real value of the product the money a paid. Otherwise it's overvalued.... Show more

Tongue of shoe unfished
10 April 2024
I didn't realize when I ordered these shoes that the tongue is not fully covered. If you look closely at the photos you can see the yellow foam of the tongue on the sides. Usually there is something covering the edges or at least they are stitched together. I thought I received a bad pair but it looks like the design is intentional. I can't imagine exposed foam holding up to wear-and-tear so I returned these immediately.... Show more
