Comfy and light
These shoes are light and comfy, but the sizing is little off. I'm usually 9.5, but went up to a 10 for these and they fit fine. Might still adjusting New Balance sizing? The silhouette is decent, not as nice as pictured. If you're looking for something Samba like that isn't being worn by everyone, you're on the right track. Just might need to keep looking for perfection though it's not here.... Show more

Great shoe except for the material
Very comfortable shoe, even for people with wide feet. Love the look, but the material of the shoe is not so great. I’ve only worn these a few times and the fuzz on the shoe makes them look older.... Show more

Great, Solid shoe. May not be for high arches.
Great shoe. Solidly buiit. I have wide feet and the arch support is lacking causing my foot to roll in slightly while walking. I haven't worn them enough to I know if this is something that will correct itself in time.... Show more

Love it
I try a lot of different lifestyle NB shoes. This is my first RC42 purchase. I love shopping online with NB because nearly every shoe Ive purchased has been true to size, including this one. One thing I thought was really interesting about this shoe was the thickness of the N logo on the sides. One side is thicker and the other is thinner. Kind of a neat touch. It is an exposed foam tongue so keep that in mind. I've never had an issue with that but I know some people don't prefer the look and think the quality of the shoe must be lacking if the tongue is exposed. Definitely not the case with this shoe. And as always, the shoe is comfortable, especially if you're on your feet all day. I'll for sure be buying this model again in the future.... Show more

Love the design!
Absolutely love the side profile and the feel of the shoes. You dont get as much sole and cushion as the other New Balance options but I prefer that, its closer towards a natural shoe than a comfort shoe. Wish there was a little more structure to the arch area or a naturally wider shoe since I have a medium height arch. I think this shoe is more suited toward higher arched people.... Show more

Poor fit, not designed for a women’s foot.
Street style sneakers were not a good fit for my narrow foot. They seemed to be designed for a man’s foot.I know they are advertised as a unisex style.Due to poor fit, I returned them.... Show more

Sleek
I had been thinking about purchasing these for months & am so glad I finally did. They’re super versatile & look even nicer in person! Besides the clean design, I mainly bought them because I wanted a more comfortable but casual sneaker. Be warned, though, these are very narrow and wouldn’t be great for someone with wide feet. Thankfully it’s not a problem for me so they’ve been very comfy. Couldn’t be happier with these shoes! Might purchase another pair in a different color way :)... Show more

Strange sole
Really cute look but extremely weird fit. The shoes are really narrow and the sole is way too narrow, to the point where it feels weird walking in them. It's as if the shoe material wraps around half of the bottom of your foot. The tongue also has exposed foam around the edges, which looks cheap. Will be returning.... Show more

This is more about the shipment
I just received my order and am appalled at the quality of this shipment. The shoebox is falling apart, the sole in one of the shoes is out and the tissue is torn apart. Can’t believe this is from Nordstrom. Returning this asap.... Show more

Uncomfortable and unflattering
i found these shoes to be very uncomfortable and they definitely don’t look at cool as the photos online. They have a very “derpy” fit. They don’t complement any type of foot shape. Just an amorphous blob of materials. These are $40 Payless shoes, not $100 NBs.... Show more
