A treat for a road runner!
This pair was a Treat!!During last two years it was frustratingly hard to buy a quality fitting and performing NB shoes (sadly...). But this pair was a god-sent shoes! I run on the roads, and cushioning is extremely important. So is light weight and overall comfort. And these shoes got it all! Love it. True to size, true to width, true to description on the web.... Comfortable and sturdy
I have been wearing Hokas for the past few years and have fallen out of love with them. They caused callouses on the sides of both big toes and contributed to lower back pain. New Balance were recommended by several online sites so I tried them. They are not as heavily cushioned as Hokas, so they took some getting used to, but after a couple of weeks of walking, my back pain is better and my callouses are gone.... Show more

Defective shoe
I think I may have gotten a defective shoe. My left shoe fits great and is comfortable but on the right side, the inner heel feels like it is raised up slightly. Super distracting though it is wearable because I spent the money on them. I wish I was able to return them but since I have already worn them a few times to “try and get used to them” I probably am past the point of returning them.... Show more

Great comfy shoes... like walking on clouds!
I am always the person on family trips who complains about my feet hurting and has to sit all the time. I've come back from vacations and thrown out sneakers (Nike, Adidas, all kinds). I decided to try New Balance Arishi's, and they have made it through first vaca with no complaints! Like walking on clouds with a nice sized toe box. The only thing I'd change (besides being fearful they have stopped making them... could only find online and not in stores) is the color... Would love a white white, not a white-gray.... Show more

Great shoe but color was misleading
When I first purchased these, I was expecting them to be more white/cream/gray but they came and are more of a light baby blue. I still really enjoy them and have worn them several times since purchasing. They are very comfortable for walking which is what I purchased them for. I would recommend this shoe, but be aware that the coloring might be misleading. I ordered an 8.5 which my usual size and they fit great.... Show more

Inconsistent
I bought these in "light blue" and "red", but that is not a true description of what colors they are. "Light Blue" is really a seafoam green. I do not see any bit of blue or even aqua tint to them. "Red" is really orange with fuchsia highlights. I also sized up one whole size, as they do not come in wide. I would say the medium width is accurate. The larger shoe was a good choice, as they seem to run a bit small, and they do not slip. The footbeds are different in each color. The orange shoes felt lumpy and the freshfoam edges around my foot were uneven (I returned them.) The green sneakers are very comfortable with no lumps or uneven spots in the soles. Both are made of mesh, and the shoes are light weight. I like New Balance, so I was pleased that the green color ... I feel the inconsistency in color and fit/feel may make it a bit frustrating to find your perfect pair, but overall, this is a good shoe. I did not purchase them for running, however, as my primary exercise is walking.... Show more

Loved but couldn't find the right size
Had high hopes since these got good reviews, but I couldn't get the size right for me. After 3 tries, I gave up. I'm 8.5 in New Balance and have wide feet. I got the 8.5 wide and they were too big. Tried the regular 8.5 and they were too short and squished my toes. Tried the 9 and they were way too long. Ended up giving up but was sad to do so because they felt super light and comfortable! Also looked super cute and sporty for a running shoe.... Show more

Super comfy and long lasting
This is a great pair of lightweight sneakers for walking. I try to walk about two hours per day, every day and I got my first pair of this style about 14 months ago. They only just started to feel less comfy so I picked up a new pair. Considering how much walking I do and the fact that I sometimes do it on trails or sidewalks, I feel like this shoe really held up great. They were very true to size and width for and I like that the tongue and heel are a little higher for ankle support but aren't scratchy. Absolutely nothing not to love, here!... Show more

Terrible
I didn't like this shoe because the upper isn't padded enough. Its hard to explain but the toes have no support and when they hit the top of the shoe it also hits in a way that makes my toes hit the top so it hurts really bad. It hurts to be in this shoe even for a short walk. I forgot to return the shoe and its just sitting in my closet but even if my other shoes look super worn out I don't want to wear them. I really liked the New Balance Women's 608 V5 Cross Trainer just wanted to like these as well.... Show more
