I ordered these for work where I stand for 10 hours. I broke them in while at home before taking them into my first shift. But even though they're wide they hurt my small toe and my feet hurt. The slip resistance is great since I work were it's very wet.

Wearing them has caused one foot to become very painful. I have worn new balance many times for work, but apparently this style isnt good for my feet. Bummed I am out the money for a shoe i cannot wear but that is the risk i willingly took.

I love New Balance and have worn them for years. That being said, I did not like this shoe. My chief compliant was that the heel box was too low and even though laced up correctly my foot still slipped up and down. I wear an 8N. Like another reviewer I did not like the wide appearance of the toe box which gave the shoe an appearance of an "orthopedic look"! I would have preferred leather uppers. I HAVE to have a shoe with a removable footbed which limits what shoe I buy. RETURNED.

This 4x wide shoe is narrower and shorter than my same style shoe, same size 2x wide shoe. Very disappointed. Returning shoe for an exchange for next larger size.
Really disappointed at first I thought they were going to be the best work shoes I’ve ever had. I’ve worked in restaurants for over a decade and have tried them all. They way they fit snug around your foot and the soles feel supported and comfortable. However within the first week the NB stamp and the bottom sole had peeled off my right shoe. A few weeks later the left shoe, I’ve now had them for a couple of months and the whole sole is peeling off. They are definitely the most expensive work shoe I have bought and they didn’t hold up as well as some of the cheaper shoes I have had in the past
Well cushioned and very supportive. Deep enough for my fairly chunky orthotics. Nice quality leather - I always choose leather over fabric because my big toe wears through fabric. New Balance are the only brand wide enough for my wide feet and small bunions. I have been wearing the 634 D width for years, these seem like a more supportive option. 1 star deducted because they top of the shoe cuts into my ankle slightly if I wear thin socks. I think it would be better with a longer tongue or a slightly higher cut.
Not a fan of these shoes, they are too padded, the sides, the tongue both feel like too much memory foam wrapped around foot. Not sure why they would design them this way, my feet are hot, half way through my shift. Can't wait to get them off.
I have been waiting for these shoes to be back in Stock. I get so Many compliments that they love my shoes. I absolutely Love them! The greatest Gift EVER!
They are amazing I work in a bar these shoes are awesome slip resistant I can walk into kitchen area without an issue. Best shoes for people with orthotics .I have 2 pairs of these . Highly recommend if u need shoes that are non slip for working on your feet long hours these are the shoes
These are probably the most comfortable shoes I have had to work in. I work at a gas station... I can walk on a freshly mopped floor with no fear. My feet are wide and its nice to have shoes where your feet arent being squeezed.
