I don't use these as running shoes, but casual street wear. They're comfortable, light, and very stylish. I usually buy the 2002r or the 990s so they're very similar in style, but the 2002r don't make your feet look as big. Highly recommend... Show more

I ordered these online as a birthday present for my boyfriend but the box came ripped and the shoes had obviously been worn before, the bottoms were dirty, there was a few scuff, and it was missing an insole. I’m really upset that I spent this much money on them to arrive like this. I’m pretty disappointed, if I’m paying new price, I should be getting them new.... Show more

I'm admittedly late to the New Balance party, lol! Although I had a pair in the early 2000s, I haven't had a pair since. I knew NB has been on fire as of recent times, so I decided to try a pair. What I remember from back in the day was that they're SUPER comfy, and these 2002Rs definitely are! And they're great looking as well! I actually took them on vacation recently, and they definitely passed the test! I logged tons of miles in them while playing tourist, and my feet felt pretty great! These are very cushioned, and also have great support! I have the black/grey/white pair, and I swapped the black laces for grey ones. They really pop, and I got tons of compliments on them! I use them for work. So, everyday wear. The shoe has a modern/retro look. Which is cool, they're lite, and somewhat comfortable. The only thing I don't like about them is that they're not a little more comfortable. Overall I like the shoe. And I plan on buying in different colors.... Show more
